1. I am excited to be seeking an opportunity that challenges me both personally and professionally.
I currently live in the Seattle area but am considering relocating back to the Portland area, where
my family still lives.
Mary Lou Retton is quoted as saying “Working hard becomes a habit, a serious kind of fun. You
get self-satisfaction from pushing yourself to the limit, knowing that all the effort is going to pay
off.” From a young age, I was taught to work - both professionally and personally.
Professionally, I began babysitting at the age of 12 and took on a 3/4 time job at 15 which I
continued thru high school. During the next decade, I went to school nights and worked days. I
was tired all the time but that never stopped me. With each job change, I took on bigger
challenges and expanded my skill set.
Personally, I took up the pastime of walking which progressed to running and over the course of
6 years I completed a half marathon. In my 10th year of running, I completed a full marathon.
Pushing my limits has always been something that I've thrived on. I consider taking on a
challenging role at an established company where I can continue my career and grow
professionally, as another step in the right direction. With more than ten years of Quality
experience, the sound ability to analyze problems and develop solutions, the inherent ability to
cater my communication style according to what the situation warrants and my fearless approach
to challenges, I know I would be a great investment for your organization.
If asked, people who I work with and those who know me personally would tell you that I am
interested, organized, efficient, productive, confidant and a “doer”. I look forward to having the
opportunity to prove myself as a highly valued member of your team!
Best Regards,
