people’s preconceived views on youth are something we can

video being aesthetically beautiful (dark and mysterious).

6. Mood Board
All our initial idea’s have been accumulated into a mood board that features
images which represent a corrupted and wild youth. We chose photo’s that
emphasised aesthetically pleasing backgrounds and locations, such as the
woods, by the quayside and fields.

In the planning stages on our blog we have analysed videos with a similar

• Vision of happy childhood with hints to absence of a father figure (in black
and white). She is playing with a sparkler.

• The songs pace quickens along with the video and its cuts.
• Various scenes of a reckless teenage existence.
• Namely the singer on the beach, a gathering in the woods, and the solo
protagonist destroying a picnic table.

shots to portray the youth distancing themselves
from growing up. Further separating them from
any responsibility in the adult world, causing

We shall use a hand-held camera for parts of
filming to show the distorted mind set and unstable
nature of the character.
Canted Angles- To highlight recklessness and lost sense of
