A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

2. 2 worlds 2 separate minds 2 separate gangs 2 separate worlds But what if one night things go terribly wrong.
3. Reasons why I liked The Outsiders: The book really shows a different perspective on life and on how others may live back a few years ago in a bad town. It helps us realize how lucky we are to have the things we have, and makes us realize how much we take for granted. For example: In The Outsiders all of the characters, Johnny Dally, Ponyboy, Darry, Soadapop , etc. Really appreciate and care about family and if not the little family they have they care for each other and their prized possession is their long hair which really defines who they are and all their pride. Also I found The Outsiders shares some of the same themes and ideas as the misfits does, just in different ways.
4. Comparing The Outsiders & The Misfits The Outsiders The Misfits There is a group of people who don’t fit in , and are discriminated against. Even though the greasers are outcasts, they all stand up for one another and have each others backs. In the book they have to make a difference and standup to the Socs In the book the greasers are bullied (in a different way then we would think of) There is a group called the gang of five who are outsiders and don’t fit in with the rest of the popular crowd. Even though the gang of five is “weird” and “losers” , and are looked down upon, they always stand up for each other and support one another. In the book they stand up to the people calling them names The Gang of five are bullied and also called many, many names.
5. What is so great about The Outsiders The Outsiders is an amazing book filled with thrillers that even include vicious fights between the Socs and the Greasers whom which are born enemies being that the Socs like to beat up on the Greasers because they think they’re better because they come from the richer part of town. The book also Includes some scary and life changing events due to one night when things between the Socs and Johnny and Ponyboy go horribly wrong. Due to these events Johnny and Ponyboy are on the run and have to leave behind anyone they’ve ever cared about to go into hiding in an old church, and also give up what Ponyboy calls , “his pride”, by cutting and dyeing his hair to not be recognized . But if you spend your life running things are bound to go wrong. Like Maybe the church catching on fire with kids trapped inside.
6. What's so great about The Outsiders <cont.> The story continues to unfold and reveal more shocking and heart wrenching events that will make you never want to put the book down. If you want to know more about what happens next and how do Johnny and Ponyboy boy deal with the fire? Well I guess you’ll just have to read the book. I recommend this book to any one and/or everyone who wants an amazing read that will leave you in awe every chapter.
