In a monastery during the Middle Ages, a monk went to the pond to catch a fish to cook for the other monks. However, he found one clever fish that was difficult to catch as it evaded his various attempts using a stick or fishing net. After many failed tries that left the monk frustrated, the monk and the fish eventually developed a friendship through their interactions.

Once upon a time, in a monastery of the middle age, lived a special monk who need some food to
cook for the rest of monks, so he went to a nearly pond to try to catch some fishes.
- BUILD UP: Tension or action begins to build, atmosphere is created, hints are given that
something is about to take place.
The monk went to the pond to catch some fishes but there, he found only one. When he tried to catch
him, he realized that the fish was really clever and it wouldn’t be easy to take him.
- MAIN EVENT: A problem occurs involving the main carácter which he/ she needs to
resolve. Detailed description and feelings need to be expressed here.
The monk tried and tried to catch the fish. He used some diferent ítems, like a stick or a fishing net,
and also he asked to the other monks of the monastery for some help, but they didn´t do nothing... So
the situation was really frustrating for the Monk.
- RESOLUTION: The carácter(s) find a solution to the problem in last paragraph.
Something is done or said to resolve the situation.
- ENDING: All the ends of the story are tied together in a traditional story. Alternative
endings include a twist in the tail or a Cliff-hanger endind.
Finally, the monk and the fish seem to end up being friends, perhaps because of the respect they
both have of each other.
