The Modern Cleopatra is an 8-episode Netflix drama series that tells the story of Queen Cleopatra of Egypt. The series begins in 2021 as Cleopatra stands on her castle overlooking Egypt with her newborn son and husband Taymour. Flashbacks then show Cleopatra's childhood in 1995 and her family's rule over Egypt, which is disrupted by war with Rome. After her family disappears, Cleopatra returns to Egypt in 2021 claiming her rightful place as queen. She works to restore Egypt with the help of Taymour, the son of her father's trusted friend, and they eventually fall in love.

4. EPISODE 1- “NEW BEGINNINGS”
 Oppening Scene
 Egypt 2021
 Cleopatra standing on the rooftop of her castle
admiring the beauty of Egypt.
 Taymour comes holding their newborn baby.
 They share a tight hug while telling their son
about the things they went through to be here.

5. EPISODE 2- “FLASHBACK”
 Flashback to Egypt 1995
 The King and Queen were loved in Egypt
 The Queen delivering her Baby
 They name her Cleopatra
 All they wanted was a child to be the next heir
 There are some conflicts with Rome

6. EPISODE 3- “WAR”
 Rome declares war on Egypt
 The King immediately gathers his soldiers to prepare them for war
 He gives them the best speech
 The King will fight till he wins or he dies
 Rome surrenders
 The Royal Family disappears

7. EPISODE 4- “MOURN”
 Egypt mourns the loss of the royal family
 Some say that they were killed others say they were
kidnapped
 Egypt goes through a lot in these years
 It was a free country with no rulers which created many
problems
 Years passed and in 2019, a virus called COVID spread
through Egypt killing many of its people

8. EPISODE 5- “RETURN OF THE QUEEN”
 In 2021, a beautiful young woman comes to Egypt
claiming that she is Queen Cleopatra of Egypt, heir to the
throne and the daughter of King Omar
 Egyptians throw a huge parade celebrating the return of
their beloved Queen
 The Queen and her family have been kidnapped by the
Romans and thrown in the dingeons for the past 20 years.
 Before the King died, he told Cleopatra that when she
comes back to Egypt she has to meet with Tayem.

9. EPISODE 6- “TAYEM AND TAYMOUR”
 The Queen had no one.
 As a young woman, she was quite powerful because on her first day she managed
to find Tayem, her father’s most trusted friend, and his son Taymour.
 Tayem and Taymour help Cleopatra with everything.
 After 6 months, Cleopatra has gathered assistants and a group of trusted soldiers.
 Taymour spends a lot of time with Cleopatra telling her about all the things that
she had missed.

10. EPISODE 7- “CLEOPATRA AND TAYMOUR”
 This friendship turned into a love story
 Cleopatra and Tayem brought back Egyp as a rich
country again and they made sure that all
Egyptians were happy and healthy
 Cleopatra provided safety for all her people
 After a year, Cleopatra decides to avenge her
parents and her country by declaring war on Rome

11. EPISODE 8- “HAPPY ENDINGS”
 Cleopatra and Taymour win the war against the
Romans
 Taymour was severely injured
 When they returned to Egypt, Taymour was in a
very bad condition
 After a month, Taymour recovers and he tells
Cleopatra that he is in love with her.
 After a year of hard work, Cleopatra and Taymour
got married.
