“It is in a crisis that character is revealed. When the earnest voice proclaimed at midnight, ‘Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him,’ and the sleeping virgins were roused from their slumbers, it was seen who had made preparation for the event. Both parties were taken unawares; but one was prepared for the emergency, and the other was found without preparation. So now, a sudden and unlooked-for calamity, something that brings the soul face to face with death, will show whether there is any real faith in the promises of God. It will show whether the soul is sustained by grace. The great final test comes at the close of human probation, when it will be too late for the soul’s need to be supplied.”

Sanctuary Presentation 5. The Candlestick and The Loud CrySami Wilberforce
The document discusses the themes of Revival Week at Maseno University from 20-26 July 2015. It focuses on the themes of the sanctuary and the candlestick, and references passages from Psalms and Ellen White about present truth, the sanctuary doctrine, and the commandments of God. It discusses the former and latter rains as metaphors for God preparing his people. Finally, it examines passages about the loud cry of the third angel's message and God's people shining light in the darkness as the gospel spreads to all nations.
1. The document outlines the timeline of events from the close of probation to the second coming, including the sealing, latter rain, loud cry, and seven last plagues.
2. It explains that the wheat and tares grow together until the close of probation, when the harvest (end of earth's history) separates them permanently.
3. Several quotes are provided about the close of probation being the time of testing when the mark of the beast is enforced and received, and God's people receive the seal.
The document discusses the parable of the ten virgins from Matthew 25:1-13. It provides commentary on the parable from Ellen White and other Adventist sources. Some key points made:
- The parable applies to Adventists in the last days as they await Christ's second coming.
- The lamps represent the Word of God, while the oil represents the Holy Spirit.
- The wise virgins studied the Scriptures intensely and received the Holy Spirit, while the foolish lacked the Holy Spirit.
- The parable and its meaning are still applicable today as the church awaits Christ's return.
Sanctuary Presentation 7. Time Limit in The SanctuarySami Wilberforce
This document provides information about a revival week being held at Maseno University from 20-26 July 2015. The theme is "The Sanctuary" and focuses on key truths such as the sanctuary message and the 2300 day prophecy. It emphasizes that present truth needs to be the focus of messages to prepare God's people. It warns of the dangers of focusing on topics that do not unite or sanctify souls. Finally, it encourages preparing for the end times by getting ready spiritually and reflecting Christ's image fully.
The document discusses the infiltration of the king of the North into the glorious land as described in Daniel 11:41. It argues that the glorious land refers to the Adventist movement worldwide, not just the Middle East. It provides historical context for Assyria's invasion of Judea as a type of the final conflict. It asserts that the sanctuary doctrine provides refuge from the king of the North for God's people, calling them to gather at the heavenly sanctuary during the antitypical day of atonement.
This document discusses the origins and characteristics of the Laodicean church in the context of Seventh-day Adventist theology. It references letters from 1845 that argue the Laodicean church emerges from the Philadelphia church and will be lukewarm, self-sufficient, and in need of nothing despite being wretched. The letters warn of a growing Laodicean influence among Sabbatarian Adventists that will oppose the message of the Advent Review publishing committee.
This document discusses the characteristics of the sealed and the church's role in the end times based on several Bible passages. It states that the church will go forth conquering and to conquer, clothed in God's grace and glory. It describes the former and latter rains as preparing the crops, and says the latter rain will revive and strengthen God's people during the final conflict. It highlights passages about the loud cry of the third angel's message, God's people coming out of Babylon, and the earth being filled with God's glory in the last days.
The Nature of Christ -revisited - The Baker Letter (updated)Antonio Bernard
This document discusses issues that have arisen regarding Ellen White's writings on the human nature of Christ. It examines some of the terms she used such as "human nature", "sinful flesh", "fallen nature", and examines what she meant by these terms. It looks at statements that seem contradictory and discusses how to come to a balanced understanding examining all the evidence. The document explores Ellen White's understanding of "sinfulness" and whether that referred to our fallen nature or actual sinful acts. It discusses statements Ellen White drew from a sermon by Melvill and analyzes whether she accepted his conclusions about Christ having innocent infirmities but not sinful propensities. The overall summary seeks to bring clarity to Ellen White's

It discusses her religious experience and call to ministry as a young woman. It also provides details about her marriage to James White, their financial struggles early on, and their four sons. James White played a key role in the development of the Seventh-day Adventist church through his support of Ellen White's ministry and his own leadership and organizational work.
The document discusses several signs that are indicators of the end times, according to Adventist eschatology. These include increasing natural disasters, wars and violence, religious fanaticism, social unrest, and geoengineering programs that are damaging the environment. It also references a people who are studying prophecy and seeking to purify themselves in preparation for Christ's return.
End Time Church Deception Powerpoint Presentationmail2jimmy123
The document discusses end times theology and debates around the timing of the rapture. It argues that the common belief in a pre-tribulation rapture is a relatively new doctrine, and cites several biblical passages that suggest Christians will experience the tribulation period and the second coming of Christ will occur at the end of the tribulation. The document aims to dispel popular rapture theories and outline what it sees as the true biblical timeline of end times events based on scripture.
This document discusses whether women should be ordained and examines perspectives on the role of women in ministry from Scripture and the writings of Ellen White. It provides commentary on ecumenical relations between the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Catholic Church in the 20th century. This included the presentation of a gold medallion to the Pope by an Adventist representative and increased cooperation between denominations. It also addresses perspectives on the interpretation of prophecies regarding the Antichrist and questions whether traditional Adventist views should be reconsidered in light of world events.
This document discusses the history and importance of the health message in the Adventist church. It traces the origins of the health reform message from visions received by Ellen White in 1863 instructing the establishment of health institutions. The Western Health Reform Institute (later Battle Creek Sanitarium) was opened in 1866. The document outlines biblical support for the health message and principles of diet, exercise, lifestyle, and their connection to spiritual growth and effectiveness in ministry. It emphasizes that health reform was meant to be an integral part of spreading the gospel message to all nations.
This document discusses biblical prophecies about the sanctuary in heaven and the antichrist power that opposes God. It describes how the antichrist power thinks to change God's law and times, and commits spiritual fornication by leading people away from God's truth. It warns that this power will try to enforce false worship and a mark of authority against God's law, but calls God's people to remain faithful to his commandments.
Health Reform and Preparing For The Final CrisisAntonio Bernard
The document discusses health reform and preparation for the final crisis or latter rain. It summarizes that God's plan is to restore humanity back into His image through the work of redemption. This involves restoring the perfection humanity had at creation and promoting the harmonious development of the body, mind and soul. The plan of redemption also aims to vindicate God's character before the universe by demonstrating His love through Christ. As the sanctuary doctrine teaches, God desires to dwell among His people and the heavenly sanctuary was opened in 1844 as Christ began the final atonement work to cleanse humanity. This cleansing process involves God's people purifying themselves on earth as Christ cleanses the temple in heaven.
The document discusses the mark of the beast as described in Revelation. It identifies the beast as the papacy based on several clues from Revelation and Daniel. The papacy received its seat and authority from pagan Rome. It claims to forgive sins and demands worship, fitting the characteristics of blasphemy. The mark of the beast will be enforced by the papacy near the end of time and involves rejecting God's commandments. The number of the beast, 666, is identified with titles for the pope. In contrast, God's people will keep His commandments and have the seal of God, identified as the seventh-day Sabbath.
This document discusses several key points about the biblical Jubilee year:
1) Every 50 years on the Day of Atonement, a Jubilee year was proclaimed throughout Israel by the blowing of trumpets, releasing those in bondage and returning property to its original owners.
2) The Jubilee year pointed forward to Christ's work of redemption, freeing humanity from bondage to sin and Satan. From the Exodus to Christ was 30 Jubilees or 1500 years, fulfilling the type.
3) In AD 31, Christ's death, resurrection and ascension fulfilled the spring feasts and inaugurated the antitypical Day of Atonement and Jubilee in
The document discusses the concept of "present truth" and how it is important for messengers to focus on key doctrines like the sanctuary and God's commandments rather than dwelling on other subjects. It warns that Satan will take advantage if messengers do not watch for his devices. Present truth, including the sanctuary message, establishes faith and gives certainty about the future.
This document discusses the seven churches mentioned in Revelation and how they represent seven phases of church history. It focuses on the church of Laodicea, representing the last church phase before the second coming of Jesus. Laodicea is described as lukewarm, indifferent, and in need of revival and reformation. The document outlines prophetic signs that will occur during the sealing of God's people, including a change in the US Constitution, Satan appearing as Christ, enforcement of Sunday laws, economic collapse, and the finding of the Ark of the Covenant. It emphasizes the need for God's end-time church to overcome lukewarmness and fully prepare for the events soon to take place.
The document discusses the sanctuary and its cleansing at the end of the 2300 day prophecy. It explains that at the end of the 2300 days in 1844, Jesus entered the most holy place of the heavenly sanctuary to begin the final phase of his work as high priest, cleansing the sanctuary. It emphasizes that this cleansing involves not just the sanctuary itself but also God's people, and that Jesus can only restore the sanctuary once God's people are fully restored and cleansed from sin. The sanctuary and God's people are inseparably linked, and the cleansing of one requires the cleansing of the other.
Revelation places the 1000-year rule of the saints after Christ's return in chapter 19, seen in the normal, chronological sense as following the return of Jesus to the earth. This kingdom is both future and earthly ("they will reign on the earth," Rev 5:10). Download the entire manuscript, study notes, and handout at BibleStudyDownloads.org (NT sermons link). This document discusses the biblical plan of redemption from sin. It begins with Genesis 3:15 which prophesies that the seed of the woman would bruise the serpent's head. Revelation 12:7-10 describes Satan being cast out of heaven. When Adam and Eve sinned, their physical, mental and spiritual nature became marred. However, God devised a plan of salvation through Jesus Christ to restore humanity. Philippians 2 discusses how Jesus, though in the form of God, humbled himself by taking human form and dying on the cross. The plan of redemption and restoration of God's image in man is the central theme of the entire Bible.
This document provides an overview of the costs and rewards of discipleship according to Christian teachings. It discusses how discipleship requires undivided loyalty to Christ above all else, and being willing to suffer persecution for one's faith. It also emphasizes the importance of self-discipline and overcoming sin. While the path of discipleship is difficult, it promises imperishable rewards in heaven like eternal life in God's presence without suffering. The document encourages weighing the gains of faith against worldly attractions.
Sanctuary Presentation 6. The Priests Bells and Close of ProbationSami Wilberforce
The document discusses a revival week at Maseno University with the theme of "The Sanctuary". It provides biblical references to Psalms 77:13 and Exodus 28:33 regarding the bells on the high priest's garment. It describes a vision where the prophetess was taken to the most holy place and saw Jesus interceding for Israel with a bell and pomegranate on the bottom of His garment. It states that Jesus will not leave the sanctuary until the judgment is complete and the plagues will not be poured out until He finishes His work and takes off His priestly garments.
The document discusses the sanctuary that was built according to God's instructions to Moses. It provides details on the different sections of the sanctuary including the outer court, holy place, and most holy place. It explains that the sanctuary and its services were designed to teach about the plan of redemption and point to Jesus as the Lamb of God who would take away the sins of the world. Various furnishings and services in the sanctuary represented spiritual truths about Jesus' ministry. It emphasizes that the sanctuary services teach about how sins are forgiven only through Jesus' death on the cross.
This document provides an introduction to basic eschatology or the study of last things. It outlines three major views of the millennium - premillennialism, postmillennialism, and amillennialism. It also discusses two key interpretation rules regarding how literally to interpret prophecy and whether the church replaces Israel. The document then gives more details on three key eschatological events - the millennium, the great tribulation, and the rapture. It provides the outlines of the premillennial and amillennial views before concluding that the premillennial pre-tribulation view follows the principles of literal interpretation and distinction between Israel and the church.
The document discusses the typology between the Jewish feasts and ceremonies held in the earthly sanctuary and their fulfillment in Christ and the heavenly sanctuary. It notes that the seven biblical feasts - Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Weeks, Trumpets, Day of Atonement, and Tabernacles - were memorials that pointed forward to the ministry of Jesus Christ. Each feast is examined in terms of its symbolic significance and correspondence to Christ's life and ministry, such as Passover symbolizing His death and the wave sheaf offering representing His resurrection. The document emphasizes that the earthly services and feasts were shadows pointing to greater spiritual realities fulfilled in Christ and His heavenly sanctuary ministry
This document discusses the revelation of the "man of sin" or the "lawless one" within each person. It argues that this refers to our own lowered consciousness or mistaken identity that sits in the "temple" of our own being and claims to be God. It says we are moving from understanding based on the "outer court" and "holy place" to a "third realm" where this man of sin within will be revealed and overcome through Christ. The goal is for each person to realize their true identity as the temple of God and to overcome the false identity that has reigned since the fall, reconciling the divisions between people and bringing the "feud" within to an end.

This is a study of Jesus being hard to understand at times. He said some very hard things that confused His listeners, and still does that today. Some are listed here and some are explained.
This document discusses and critiques the doctrine of "once saved, always saved." It argues that this view contradicts Scripture in several ways:
1) It claims people can continue sinning without consequence even until death, yet the Bible says the unrighteous will not inherit God's kingdom.
2) It asserts people will be cleansed of sin at the judgment, but the Bible says nothing defiled can enter heaven.
3) It encourages sin by removing consequences, yet Scripture warns against using grace as an excuse for sinning.
The document concludes the Bible teaches people will be judged according to their works, not just their profession of faith, and the finally impenitent will face condemnation
This deals with the text about the Holy Spirit manifestation. It has to do with the individual gifts to each person for the good of all the church, Individual gifts are not just for the individual but for the whole body of believers.
This is a study of Jesus coming soon. It was His final promise that He would soon come, and this is the promise the whole church hangs on to for all time as we look and watch for His coming.
This document provides an introduction and first two chapters of a book about Christian stewardship and preparing for the afterlife. The introduction discusses how Christians are citizens of both the present world and the world to come. Chapter 1 discusses the biblical concept of stewardship and how everything belongs to God. It emphasizes total commitment of one's resources to God. Chapter 2 discusses how, although nothing can be taken with you physically, Christians can send resources ahead to heaven by dedicating them to God's purposes.
This document provides an introduction to the book "Coming Events" by W.D. Frazee. It discusses how prophecies relate to the crisis at the close of earth's history. The prophecy of Daniel 8 foretold 2300 years until the sanctuary would be cleansed in 1844, relating to Jesus entering the most holy place. Revelation 14 contains the three angels' messages for this time, including the message of the investigative judgment starting in 1844. The crisis at the close involves the mark of the beast power and persecution of God's people, depicting the struggle between good and evil as the world nears its end.
This document contains summaries and analyses of the biblical passage about blasphemy against the Holy Spirit from multiple Christian commentators and scholars. It begins by providing the key Bible verses from Luke 12:10 that discuss blasphemy against the Holy Spirit and how it will not be forgiven. The document then examines perspectives on what constitutes this sin from commentators, including that it involves deliberately attributing the works of Jesus to Satan despite convincing evidence. It explores why this sin is considered unforgivable, such as that it requires a willful rejection of truth and implies one's mind is closed to conviction.
033a - All the men's conversion to Jesus Redeemer is in the Destiny of the No...OrdineGesu
This document discusses how one can become a Christian without attending a Christian church. It states that the essential things are to elect Jesus as one's redeemer and savior in secret, and to live according to his teachings in the gospels as best as possible. It emphasizes having a secret, intimate relationship with God through prayer, forgiveness, and living with love and charity for others. Not Christians are encouraged to privately integrate the values of the gospels with their own sacred texts. The overall message is that true faith and devotion to God can be practiced secretly and individually through living virtuously.
This document summarizes a sermon by Charles Spurgeon about how Jesus fulfills the purpose of the law. The summary is:
1) Jesus is the purpose and fulfillment of the law, which was given to lead people to have faith in Him for righteousness and salvation.
2) The law shows people their sin and inability to attain righteousness through works. It drives them to have faith in Jesus instead.
3) Spurgeon hopes the sermon will help people see that Jesus has finished what they cannot do through the law, and will lead them to faith in Him.
Jesus was urging us to interpret the timesGLENN PEASE
This is a study of Jesus urging us to interpret the times. We can interpret the weather by observing the the clouds and the wind, but we fail to observe the events of the present time. They missed the coming of the kingdom in the day of Jesus.
Jesus was sure, without me you can do nothingGLENN PEASE
This is a study of Jesus being sure in saying, without me you can do nothing. Nothing that matters for eternity can be achieved without Jesus involved.
The document discusses the need to study the books of Daniel and Revelation more closely as we near the end of time. It emphasizes keeping attention focused on God and His law rather than human beings. It notes how God worked throughout history to humble human pride. The second part discusses various biblical passages about election, calling, and salvation through accepting Christ's righteousness. It stresses that true election is dependent upon continual faith and obedience to God's word. Overall the document examines theological concepts around judgment, salvation, and preparing for Christ's return.
The Book of Ruth is included in the third division, or the Writings, of the Hebrew Bible. In most Christian canons it is treated as one of the historical books and placed between Judges and 1 Samuel.

Trusting God's Providence | Verse: Romans 8: 28-31JL de Belen
Trusting God's Providence.
Providence - God’s active preservation and care over His creation. God is both the Creator and the Sustainer of all things Heb. 1:2-3; Col. 1:17
-God keep His promises.
-God’s general providence is toward all creation
- All things were made through Him
God’s special providence is toward His children.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

33. What is the Great FinalTest that comes at
the close of human probation when the
Midnight Cry is heard?
This test is described as a crisis, where
many will be taken unaware; it is described
as an emergency, a sudden and unlooked-
for calamity for some souls bringing them
face to face with death.
35. “The Sabbath will be the great test of
loyalty, for it is the point of truth especially
controverted. When the final test shall be
brought to bear upon men, then the line of
distinction will be drawn between those
who serve God and those who serve Him
not.”
The Great Controversy, 605, Ellen G.White
36. “The Sabbath is the great test question. It is
the line of demarkation between the loyal
and true and the disloyal and transgressor.”
Selected Messages book 3, 423, Ellen G.White
38. The Great FinalTest to which the Midnight Cry
alerts us to will be the National Sunday Law
which precedes the Loud Cry of Revelation 18.
39. The Loud Cry is the last warning that takes place right
before the close of probation and the falling of the
seven last plagues. Revelation 18:1-4 pictures the
final announcement of the fall of Babylon and the
divine call, “Come out of her, My people.”Verse 5
says, “For her sins have reached to heaven, and God
has remembered her iniquities.”When does
Babylon’s sins reach heaven resulting in the Loud
Cry? In Last Day Events we are told: “When do her
sins reach unto heaven [Revelation 18:2-5]? When the
law of God is finally made void by legislation."
40. In other words, Babylon’s sins reach heaven when
there is a National Sunday Law.When the Sunday law
has shown that the sins of Babylon has reached
heaven, God’s people will be giving a Loud Cry
message that it’s time to come out of Babylon.
41. In Matthew 25, the entire church wakes up when the
Midnight Cry is heard. There will be no sleeping
through the final test. When the National Sunday
Law is passed, God’s faithful “wise virgins” will give
the Loud Cry.The “foolish virgins” will not be ready
and they will fail the final test (Matthew 25:12
42. Take note the following:
* The entire church wakes up when the Midnight Cry is
heard.
* God’s faithful “wise virgins” will give the Loud Cry.
* The “foolish virgins” will not be ready and they will fail
the final test.
Matthew 25:12
43. So if the ten virgins are sleeping, they will sleep right through
until it's too late.
Because once the midnight cry comes, ’the bridegroom is coming
let us go forth to meet Him’, that'll be the Sunday law.The Sunday law is
going to wake up every single Adventist and they go to say:
“We didn't realize it was going to happen so soon so so what do we do
to prepare”?
“Sorry, go buy your own oil”
When Seventh day woke up to the reality that the Sunday law has just
been passed, they're going to scramble to get ready. But it will be too
late. Preparation time comes before the Sunday law.
44. It's the final test and that's the closing process for the judgment of
the living for Seventh dayAdventist and it will rapidly progress to
conclude the whole world but it starts in the house of God. Seventh-
dayAdventist will be judged before non Seventh-dayAdventist.
Those who know the truth, He'll judge first and we are told that the
door is closed to those who would not enter but it is yet open to those
who have not yet heard.
How important it is for those of us that know the truth?Very
important and that we have to prepare because we will be judged
before others.
45. Only those who are living up to the
light they have will receive greater
light. Unless we are daily
advancing in the exemplification of
the active Christian virtues, we
shall not recognize the
manifestations of the Holy Spirit in
the latter rain. It may be falling on
hearts all around us, but we shall
not discern or receive it.
Testimonies to Ministers and GospelWorkers,
507, Ellen. G.White
46. The reality of the matter is that those who failed in
character development during the time of probation
will not realize that they weren't sealed until the
plagues began falling on them.
47. We now know that the midnight cry spoken about here
typifies the soon coming Sunday Law.
But most of us,
Seventh-DayAdventist,
fail to realize that there was a condition
separating the wise and the foolish virgins,
though both groups had fallen asleep.
48. Likewise any seventh-dayAdventists who has not already
gained the victory over sin prior to the Sunday law will never
receive the Spirit of God, the latter rain.
Victory over sin must take place before the Sunday law test.
49. When the call went forth that the
bridegroom was coming there was no time
left for the oil to be obtained.
We know that the oil here represents a
Christ-like character which is a sinless
condition.
50. So what the passage is saying
is that at the passing of the Sunday law
all Seventh-dayAdventists whether they
believe a present truth or not, we'll all going
to wake up to the realization that Christ's
return is imminent.
51. 95 plus percent of Seventh-day Adventists are waiting
for the Sunday law to get ready.
But it is the Sunday law that wakes up the whole
church.
You see the Sunday law, the voice at
midnight that says “Behold the bridegroom cometh”
is a prophetic event.
And at this time, the whole church woke up, both the
wise and the foolish.
52. Now the second part is where Satan brings in a deception and a
distractions. This is what he does not want us to focus on or
realize and what has escaped our notice
53. At the passing of the Sunday law, Seventh-day
Adventists will need to have reached a sinless
condition to receive the latter rain and be
empowered to stand during the crisis. We all
believed and knew this at one point but the vast
majority of us have gotten so distracted that we
have become totally oblivious to this
required condition.
54. * Satan is distracting the people of God
from preparing their hearts and getting
the victory over sin.
* Satan has no other reason than
to distract the people of God from the
necessary work of preparation.
* And we have failed to notice the signs
going on in nature and around the world
as to the crisis brewing.
55. The US economy can collapse literally on any day
which will rocket us into a national Sunday law.
56.
57. Follow the logic:
* Satan has to prevent Seventh-day Adventists
from reaching a state of sinlessness prior to
the Sunday law.
* We have to pray to God right now to remove
any distractions that prevents that reality from
really sinking into our minds.
* We have to be no longer actively sinning by the
time of the Sunday law.
58. God knew that we would be in this distracted condition
so in His loving mercy he sent us messengers to put
our focus back on victory over sin.
59. SisterWhite says,
Not one of us will ever
receive the Seal of God while our
characters have one spot or stain
upon them, it is left with us to
remedy the defects in our characters,
to cleanse the soul-temple of every
defilement.Then the latter rain will
fall upon us as the early rain fell upon
the disciples on the day of Pentecost.
Christian Experience andTeachings p. 189. 2
60. That means all hereditary and cultivated character
defects must be removed before we could ever receive
the seal of God.
If it takes several weeks to stop a bad habit how long
do you think it takes to cleanse the soul-temple?
This work is an impossible feat if the early rain hasn't
already been falling on us and Christ hasn’t been
allowed to take control of the soul-temple.
61. Many of us feel confident that the years we spent within the
church and our accumulated knowledge and Bible prophecy and
the writings of sisterWhite will enable us to make an intelligent
decision at the Sunday law and will not for one moment give up
our position on the Sabbath.
But let's consider this,
The disciples walked and talked with Jesus Himself for three years
and yet they all fled when the crisis came.
Peter never thought that after walking on water, seeing all the
miracle of Christ, and performing miracles himself that he could
ever betray his Lord and Savior but when the pressure of the crisis
came, he quickly denied his Savior three times.
62. The disciples had an advantage over us because they
were actually able to walk and talk with Christ yet their
faith still failed them.
1 Corinthians 10:12 says,
“Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take
heed lest he fall”.
We have to take a more serious look into the condition
of our hearts, and the sin in our lives.
63. Again as sisterWhite says,
Not one of us will ever
receive the Seal of God while our
characters have one spot or stain
upon them, it is left with us to
remedy the defects in our characters,
to cleanse the soul-temple of every
defilement.Then the latter rain will
fall upon us as the early rain fell upon
the disciples on the day of Pentecost.
Christian Experience andTeachings p. 189. 2
64. Mark this point with care:
Those who receive the pure
mark of truth, wrought in
them by the power of the
Holy Ghost, represented by a
mark by the man in linen, are
those “that sigh and that cry
for all the abominations that
be done” in the church.
Testimonies for the Church 3:267
65. The class who do not feel grieved over
their own spiritual declension, nor mourn
over the sins of others, will be left without
the seal of God....
Not all who profess to keep the Sabbath
will be sealed. There are many even among
those who teach the truth to others who
will not receive the seal of God in their
foreheads. They had the light of truth, they
knew their Master's will, they understood
every point of our faith, but they had not
corresponding works....
Maranatha, 240
66. Call to Action
Do you hear loud and clear that God is telling us, IT’S
TIMETO GET READY?
67. We are living in unprecedented times. COVID-
19 has created economic uncertainty, fear,
and confusion.There’s civil unrest happening
around the world and mass invasions of
locusts threatening food security in numerous
countries. I hear loud and clear that God is
telling us, it’s time to get ready! What do you
hear?We are told:
“God has a purpose in permitting these
calamities to occur. They are one of His means
of calling men and women to their senses.”
Last Day Events, 28
68. What are you doing, brethren, in the great
work of preparation?Those who are
uniting with the world are receiving the
worldly mold and preparing for the mark of
the beast. Those who are distrustful of self,
who are humbling themselves before God
and purifying their souls by obeying the
truth—these are receiving the heavenly
mold and preparing for the seal of God in
their foreheads.When the decree goes
forth and the stamp is impressed, their
character will remain pure and spotless for
eternity.
Maranatha, 240
69. Now is the time to prepare. The seal of
God will never be placed upon the
forehead of an impure man or woman. It
will never be placed upon the forehead
of the ambitious, world-loving man or
woman. It will never be placed upon the
forehead of men or women of false
tongues or deceitful hearts. All who
receive the seal must be without spot
before God—candidates for heaven.
Testimonies for the Church 5:211, 213-216
70. Now is the time to pray and seek God with all our hearts. God says,
“And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all
your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13). We need to spend time in prayer alone
with God, and also unite in prayer with God’s people. The early rain fell
when God’s people were “with one accord in one place” (Acts 2:1-2).
We need both the personal and the corporate experience in prayer!
71. It’s time to go beyond knowing about Jesus to knowing Him personally
and loving Him with all our hearts — so we can be among God’s faithful
people who will one day soon give the Loud Cry!
72. It’s time to ask daily for the Holy
Spirit (Luke 11:9-13) so we are
among the “wise virgins” of
Matthew 25 instead of among the
“foolish virgins” where Jesus says, “I
do not know you” (Matthew 25:12).
73. It’s time to prepare for the Great FinalTest and claim
this Bible promise:
“Ask the Lord for rain in the time of the latter rain. The Lord will make
flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, grass in the field for
everyone.”
Zechariah 10:1
