Malaysian students' international test scores have declined in recent years, registering drops in reading ability and science scores, though mathematics scores improved. This signals an increasing deterioration in Malaysia's education system according to international benchmarks, where Malaysia now ranks 52nd out of 65 countries. The Education Minister responded that if people are unhappy with the system, they can choose to send their children overseas for schooling.

What website can I sell pi coins securely.DOT TECH
Currently there are no website or exchange that allow buying or selling of pi coins..
But you can still easily sell pi coins, by reselling it to exchanges/crypto whales interested in holding thousands of pi coins before the mainnet launch.
Who is a pi merchant?
A pi merchant is someone who buys pi coins from miners and resell to these crypto whales and holders of pi..
This is because pi network is not doing any pre-sale. The only way exchanges can get pi is by buying from miners and pi merchants stands in between the miners and the exchanges.
How can I sell my pi coins?
Selling pi coins is really easy, but first you need to migrate to mainnet wallet before you can do that. I will leave the what'sapp contact of my personal pi merchant to trade with.

5 Tips for Creating Standard Financial ReportsEasyReports
Well-crafted financial reports serve as vital tools for decision-making and transparency within an organization. By following the undermentioned tips, you can create standardized financial reports that effectively communicate your company's financial health and performance to stakeholders.
Financial Assets: Debit vs Equity Securities.pptxWrito-Finance
financial assets represent claim for future benefit or cash. Financial assets are formed by establishing contracts between participants. These financial assets are used for collection of huge amounts of money for business purposes.
Two major Types: Debt Securities and Equity Securities.
Debt Securities are Also known as fixed-income securities or instruments. The type of assets is formed by establishing contracts between investor and issuer of the asset.
• The first type of Debit securities is BONDS. Bonds are issued by corporations and government (both local and national government).
• The second important type of Debit security is NOTES. Apart from similarities associated with notes and bonds, notes have shorter term maturity.
• The 3rd important type of Debit security is TRESURY BILLS. These securities have short-term ranging from three months, six months, and one year. Issuer of such securities are governments.
• Above discussed debit securities are mostly issued by governments and corporations. CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSITS CDs are issued by Banks and Financial Institutions. Risk factor associated with CDs gets reduced when issued by reputable institutions or Banks.
Following are the risk attached with debt securities: Credit risk, interest rate risk and currency risk
There are no fixed maturity dates in such securities, and asset’s value is determined by company’s performance. There are two major types of equity securities: common stock and preferred stock.
Common Stock: These are simple equity securities and bear no complexities which the preferred stock bears. Holders of such securities or instrument have the voting rights when it comes to select the company’s board of director or the business decisions to be made.
Preferred Stock: Preferred stocks are sometime referred to as hybrid securities, because it contains elements of both debit security and equity security. Preferred stock confers ownership rights to security holder that is why it is equity instrument
Equity securities as a whole is used for capital funding for companies. Companies have multiple expenses to cover. Potential growth of company is required in competitive market. So, these securities are used for capital generation, and then uses it for company’s growth.
Concluding remarks
Both are employed in business. Businesses are often established through debit securities, then what is the need for equity securities. Companies have to cover multiple expenses and expansion of business. They can also use equity instruments for repayment of debits. So, there are multiple uses for securities. As an investor, you need tools for analysis. Investment decisions are made by carefully analyzing the market. For better analysis of the stock market, investors often employ financial analysis of companies.

2. Rise of Malaysia
2014 will be a bleak financial year for Malaysians as we face an increase in toll
prices, electricity tariff rates, public transportation, possibly further fuel subsidy cuts,
impending GST, etc, etc.
This calendar was produced to share in our sorrow and help deal with our 2 week
memory problem (our leaders say we can only remember bad events for 2 weeks,
after that we forgive and love them again).
It is a calendar produced by Malaysians, for Malaysians.
As such information has been taken from fellow Malaysians, from a variety of
sources. As such there is no copyright for the calendar.
As it is the work of many Malaysians, it is not for sale but freely distributed.
Many of the ideas came from fellow Malaysians who have vented their frustrations
on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's Facebook page.
All facts quoted in the calendar are accurate and reported in the mainstream news.
2014 must be the year we:
Remember all the failed promises and ask for good governance.
Demand for good leaders who care for the whole population, not just their own
relatives.
Move as a nation to see our real issues, rather than the petty ones that are
frequently thrown as veil over our eyes.
Work to support the poorer and most affected of our nation.
If the government will not serve the people, then the people must serve themselves.

Petrol Rise
Cheap petrol is not good for Malaysians. The government’s move to reduce petrol subsidy will improve
our economic status. It will reduce a subsidy mentality. Cheap fuel has indirectly led to the continuing
deterioration of the public transportation sector in the country.
The fuel price increase has already resulted in a corresponding rise in the prices of food and goods, with
economists predicting an increase in inflation rates.

The Public Land Transport Commission (SPAD) said school bus operators can collect a
surcharge from parents pending a new fare structure to be announced in April or May. Its
group operations warned that SPAD will take action should parents complain about the
surcharge. It's inevitable the increased prices of basic goods would affect transportation too,
therefore parents should be prepared to face it.
The Federation of Malaysian School Bus Operators Association called for an increase in
school bus fares by 40 per cent in light of increased operational costs. They said that with
the increase of the diesel & RON95 price alone their operations cost went up by 13.5%.

“No free lunch, it is either increase toll rates or taxes, says Najib”. “We do not want concessionaires to
reap excessively high returns, and the government is examining that, so that the hike will not give the
toll operators unreasonably high profits.” Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Abdul Wahid Omar told motorists they could use
other roads if they did not wish to pay for tolled highways.
The toll concessionaires have already earned back their initial investments in full and do not need to
collect any more tolls. Plus spend only 6% of its income on maintaining the highways. This means that
for every 1 ringgit they invest they make 16 ringgit back – a 1600% profit.

Electricity
Rates Up
Green Technology Minister Datuk Seri Dr
Maximus Ongkili announced the new
electricity rates effective January 1. This
move was in line with government plans to
trim fuel subsidies for power producers in
the first quarter of 2014.
Umno Youth wants an assurance from
Putrajaya that the rise in electricity tariff is
because of higher power generation costs,
and not for Tenaga Nasional Bhd's profit, as
there were concerns that the hike would
only benefit shareholders of the national
power distributor.
Putrajaya has defended the RM 2.2 million
electricity bill by the Prime Minister's official
residence last year. "How to avoid such
expenses? That is not my residence but the
prime minister's residence. If heads of
government come, are we supposed to dine
in the dark? If the Chinese prime minister
comes, are we to dine by candlelight?”

Telecos consumers in Malaysia pay the highest rates for their broadband lines in the entire Asia-Pacific
region. 112x what a consumer in Hong Kong would pay and higher than rates in Singapore, Vietnam,
Thailand, etc. In recent years, consumers in 9 countries in the region saw their costs reduced but we in
Malaysia saw ours rise.
And that for a “half-past 6”service.
Internet search giant, Google, confirmed what most Malaysians have suspected for the longest time - our
Internet speed really does suck. Malaysia was listed among the slowest countries in the world for loading
Web pages on desktop computers as well as mobile computers, according to a study by Google.
Malaysia, with an average Web page loading speed on desktops of 14.3 seconds, was named the
world’s fifth slowest, even more plodding than the connection speeds of nations like Colombia, Argentina
and Peru. In the category of the 10 slowest countries for mobile web page loading, Malaysia was the
best of the worst, with a loading time of 12.7 seconds.

Christmas Present
for 2015: GST
(Goods and Services Tax)
“GST, GST, GST all the way
O what fun it is to have
A nice big new tax system”
(sung to the tune of Jingle bells)
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the implementation of GST was necessary as
the country risked becoming bankrupt if it resorted to borrowing. “We have to find additional
sources of income and that’s why we have to implement the GST”.
Sabah assemblymen’s Christmas request to Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak:
“If he was really concerned about the people of Sabah and Sarawak, they should be exempted
from the price hikes on petroleum products, sugar, electricity and the intended Goods and
