More than 40 work-life balance tips from dad entrepreneursAndreea Ayers
Are you a dad entrepreneur trying to do it all? There are now more fathers than ever who are starting businesses, in addition to having children. Many parents, both mothers and fathers alike, are now starting businesses that fit their lifestyle, so the need for work-life balance is even greater.
Earlier this week we reached out to dad entrepreneurs and here are more than 40 tips that they shared with us about work-life balance.
Work-life balance tips from dad entrepreneurs
A number of years ago before I became a dad there were two pieces of advice I was given (as I was a Rotary President at the time). The first was that family comes first, then work then everything else. – Kevin Cahill, Canadian Legacy Builder
One tip I can share for young fathers who are entrepreneurs! *SLEEP TRAIN YOUR BABY!* Sleep-training is a technique that teaches babies how to settle themselves. One of the most difficult things for new parents is settling their babies to sleep. Sometimes, this can take hours and it totally drains & stresses you out. Being an entrepreneur means that you need all the time you can get, but I didn’t want to neglect my daughter. So my wife and I decided early on that we should train our daughter to settle herself. So! for all young entrepreneurial parents out there, sleep-train your kids! and you’ll surely be rewarded with time and a very well-slept baby! – Eric, Marvelogs
Quality time is the most important thing you can give your children. A simple time management rule I have for myself is work when alone, play when together. Entrepreneurs must be willing to work during the 3 windows of time when the kids are unavailable: 1) during their sleep; 2) during school and 3) after you kiss them goodnight. – Sam Dedio, Patrumin Investors

A great passion of mine is to advocate for child abuse and neglect. Research shows that
child abuse and neglect is a critical issue because it happens daily. The focus of my advocacy
efforts is child abuse and neglect as I am passionate about the well-being and safety of all
children. I would like to address the issue of abuse and neglect of children by their caregivers or
any adult figure. Although some parents may have the means to provide adequate resources, they
oftentimes fail to satisfy areas of needs with children that include but are not limited to
compassion, respect, access to learning resources, proper food and clothing, protection and
safety, good moral character development, love and much more.
An example of a policymaker I would consult would be the Department of Children and
Families (DCF). The Department of Children and Families would be first on my list to contact as
they are easily accessible and ready for contact as they deal with child abuse, exploitation, and
neglect directly. Furthermore, the Department of Children and Families are always open to
providing information that will be useful on the topic and assistance with furthering knowledge
on the processes and issues with child abuse and neglect. The strategies that will be used to gain
support from the Department of Children and Families would include formally arranging a
meetin.

Memorandum Of Association Constitution of Company.pptseri bangash
www.seribangash.com
A Memorandum of Association (MOA) is a legal document that outlines the fundamental principles and objectives upon which a company operates. It serves as the company's charter or constitution and defines the scope of its activities. Here's a detailed note on the MOA:
Contents of Memorandum of Association:
Name Clause: This clause states the name of the company, which should end with words like "Limited" or "Ltd." for a public limited company and "Private Limited" or "Pvt. Ltd." for a private limited company.
https://seribangash.com/article-of-association-is-legal-doc-of-company/
Registered Office Clause: It specifies the location where the company's registered office is situated. This office is where all official communications and notices are sent.
Objective Clause: This clause delineates the main objectives for which the company is formed. It's important to define these objectives clearly, as the company cannot undertake activities beyond those mentioned in this clause.
www.seribangash.com
Liability Clause: It outlines the extent of liability of the company's members. In the case of companies limited by shares, the liability of members is limited to the amount unpaid on their shares. For companies limited by guarantee, members' liability is limited to the amount they undertake to contribute if the company is wound up.
https://seribangash.com/promotors-is-person-conceived-formation-company/
Capital Clause: This clause specifies the authorized capital of the company, i.e., the maximum amount of share capital the company is authorized to issue. It also mentions the division of this capital into shares and their respective nominal value.
Association Clause: It simply states that the subscribers wish to form a company and agree to become members of it, in accordance with the terms of the MOA.
Importance of Memorandum of Association:
Legal Requirement: The MOA is a legal requirement for the formation of a company. It must be filed with the Registrar of Companies during the incorporation process.
Constitutional Document: It serves as the company's constitutional document, defining its scope, powers, and limitations.
Protection of Members: It protects the interests of the company's members by clearly defining the objectives and limiting their liability.
External Communication: It provides clarity to external parties, such as investors, creditors, and regulatory authorities, regarding the company's objectives and powers.
https://seribangash.com/difference-public-and-private-company-law/
Binding Authority: The company and its members are bound by the provisions of the MOA. Any action taken beyond its scope may be considered ultra vires (beyond the powers) of the company and therefore void.
Amendment of MOA:
While the MOA lays down the company's fundamental principles, it is not entirely immutable. It can be amended, but only under specific circumstances and in compliance with legal procedures. Amendments typically require shareholder

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

The Importance of Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day
1. 5 Tips to Make the Most of
the Opportunity
The Importance of Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day:
2. Each year, the fourth Thursday of April is
recognized as Take Our Daughters and Sons to
Work Day, and more than 37 million Americans
at over 3.5 million workplaces participate in this
special event.*
*forbes.com/pictures/efkk45eihdg/the-dos-and-donts-of-take-your-kids-to-work-day-
2/#50f42e122671
3. To understand the significance of the day as it
stands now, though, let’s first take a step or two
back to consider its origins. The idea was created in
New York City in the summer of 1992 by the Ms.
Foundation, specifically the organization’s president
at the time, Marie C. Wilson, and first celebrated as
Take Our Daughters to Work Day on April 22, 1993.
4. And if you need a history refresher on the early 1990s, a
national conversation had begun regarding what was next for
feminism. The testimony of law professor Anita Hill during
Clarence Thomas’ 1991 Supreme Court confirmation hearing
had changed the way Americans talked about workplace
harassment, and helped propel women to historic victories in
the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.*
*time.com/4753128/take-your-our-daughters-to-work-day-history/
6. The program officially expanded in 2003 to include
boys, but most involved companies had allowed both
boys and girls to participate since its inception, so the
name of the day just had to catch up a bit in order to
reflect that. The official website states that things
were changed in order to provide both boys and girls
with opportunities to explore careers at an age when
they are more flexible in terms of gender roles.
7. The Ms. Foundation also states that men who
have hosted children have benefited from being
seen as parental figures in addition to their
roles as professionals, which can contribute to
combating gender stereotypes as well.
8. So now that you have a little bit of background
on the development of the day, let’s explore
how you can make the most of the experience
for your child, as well as for yourself.
Here are five tips to think about:
9. Think about what would be most meaningful to your child, given his or her
unique interests. Sit down and discuss what he or she wants to learn that day, or
what specific questions there may be on what your work is really all about.
Remember, kids who are participating are also missing a day of school, so it’s
crucial you have a different type of learning experience set up for the day – one
that will have long-lasting influence on their goals, work ethic, and
understanding of the professional world.
Plan the day with your child.
#1
10. Many HR departments now offer a full day planned in advance for participating children, so that
they can grasp a bigger picture of how the company comes together to operate as a team.
However, many businesses do not do this so it’s important you speak to the powers that be in
advance, as well as your work cohorts, to tell them your plan with your child and how you’d like
to optimize the day. No busy co-worker wants to be distracted by a roaming child, so it’s best
for everyone if there is a structure planned in advance – one that will work for your organization
and also for your child.
Plan the day with your employer
and colleagues.
#2
11. And on that note, prep your kids before they go to work with you by
providing some guidelines. Tell them exactly what will be expected of
them, and reinforce what a fantastic learning experience this will be.
