EXPLANATION OF OUR CLUB:
The purpose of our club is to
help fellow college students
learn how to cook quick and
healthy meals on a budget;
being able to use the tools
they have learned to meal
prep for the rest of the week.
DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES/EVENTS:
Community Service:
We participate in feeding the homeless twice a semester on Wednesday of
Week 8 and Week 15. We hold a special donation service at LSC locations
and hand out flyers to locals in the area if they would like to join us. The
food is all provided and funded by Feeding the Hungry & Helping the
Homeless Charity and after everyone is served we pass out the other
donated items (clothes, blankets, etc.).
Social Events:
We join in and help surrounding schools with their
food drives. We help design and post flyers around
the areas and walk around surrounding neighborhoods
with the children to collect cans.
