The green nest is a student

2012 working towards
making a change in this
society.
A change which would bring
smiles to hundreds of
children and human beings.
Our Vision
Up-lifting the Underprivileged
Children.
-- Brighter children Brighter India
Helping the Old Aged.
-- who are the nation’s culture
Environmental Protection.
-- for a better tomorrow
TGN… TILL YESTERDAY
34 successful events since August 2012
-Little Time …. Yet….Great Achievement
Spread over 2 cities (Hyderabad &
Chennai)
- Distance No Constraint and infinitely
expanding.
Activities such as Orphanage visits,
Clean-Up Drives and sharing with the
destitute.
- They Too Are Part of “US”
What we do?
 The green nest is a platform for
students to make a change in the
society. A change which would
bring smiles to hundreds of
children, animals and every human
beings.
 We teach children, play with them,
donate books, plant saplings, clean
roads and beaches, celebrate
festivals with the underprivileged,
feed the animals, give medical
attention to living souls, educate
the slums about the hygiene………
A helping hand to the poor
 TGN helps the poor in multitude.
We help them by giving food,
clothes, education and so on……
A hope to the underprivileged
 Since the inception of TGN, it has
provided many children and old
people a reason to live their with a
smile.
Sharing With The Destitute
 Joy of Giving! The TGN has
always followed the policy
“DON’T LET YOU LEFT HAND
KNOW WHAT YOUR RIGHT HAND IS
GIVING”. TGN has provided the
poor with food, blankets,
footwear and so on.
TGN as a Medical Aid
 Health is wealth and that’s what
the green nest abides by. TGN
provides wealth to the poor by
giving them health through
conducting medical camps, blood
donation camps, …..
SAVING THE ENVIRONMENT
 “What the use of having a fine
house if you haven’t got a
tolerable planet to put it on”
- Henry David Thoreau
 TGN protects the environment by
having clean up drives and clean
the environment campaigns which
help in the cleansing the roads,
beaches, temple surroundings, so
on…….
BALANCING THE ECOLOGY
 The balance of the ecology is the
most important factor for survival
of any species, especially the
endangered ones. It was sad to
notice that many animals in the
city are being endangered because
of human activities. TGN then took
an initiative to help these animals
and bring happiness in their lives.
An eye to the Blind
 Love is blind!! This is the
expression that many of us know.
 The green nest has shown the blind
the world and the reason of life
through their love!!
Enclothing The Slum
 Man’s three basic needs are food,
clothing and shelter. TGN feels that
clothing and food are the most
essential. TGN has conducted
campaigns across Chennai and
Hyderabad where old clothes were
collected and given to the people
in slum.
Dreams Unlimited
 When 50 volunteers try to make
dreams of 100 children come true,
MAGIC HAPPENS!!!!!!
A New Blast To New Year
 Every child has to know the
meaning of celebrating life!!!
Making Festivals More Colourful
 A festival is an event ordinarily
staged by a ethnic group, which
centers on and celebrates some
unique aspect of that community.
Many of the orphaned kids don’t
even get the privilege of
celebrating, TGN has brought
colour into those innocent lives.
Awesomeness Camp
 Awesome is the only word that can
describe this event!!!..
PROJECT BOOK WINGS
 Book Wings is to make a child
dream big and explore
opportunities for a bright future.
Book Wings is held on every
weekend at various shelter homes
across Hyderabad and Chennai.
Book Wings aims to equip our
children with the wings of
independence, confidence and self
worth, the very wings that will
help them soar high and transcend
horizons.
TGN’s Growth
 Started as a 1 man army, now run
together by over 250 volunteers
and office bearers
- One Candle …Lighting A Thousand
 1 year into TGN, reaching over
8800 people through social
networking sites
- Spreading the Wings….To Reach More
TGN’s Future
 Plans of expansion have been put
to work. Recruitments in New
Delhi, and Vellore have already
started and future growth projects
have been planned.
TGN in News
 News about TGN has been
broadcasted in many regional news
channels like TV9, NTV, 10TV to
name a few.
 Articles about the TGN have been
written in Times Of India, Indian
express, Sakshi, Sahara, Andhra
Jyothi, and so on.
