2. Saturday off
+ Melchior hadthe roller rink.and the twins wanted to go skating, so Melchior
took them to
3. +
Emily’s pal Shannon was there in her dragon outfit. Being her mother’s
daughter, Emily immediately rolled wants to play with and get to know
Shannon, so that’s what she did.
5. +
Eventually Eli got tired of skating (and falling down). He met this little boy,
Caelan, and decided to go make friends with him.
6. +
Emily and Shannon went skating together. I’m not sure how Shannon put
her skates on in that outfit…
7. +
Eli really loves playing catch, but since this is the face he makes while
playing, it’s not always a fun game for his partner.
8. +
Luckily Melchior makes a similar catch face. The boys in this family are very
serious about their baseball.
9. +
Emily had a great time skating. Shannon left, but Emily kept right on going.
She’s getting pretty good.
10. +
After they got tired of skating, Melchior took the kids out to dinner. I had a bit of a
problem trying to get them to all sit down and eat. I ended up having Melchior ask
the kids to “form a casual group”. I didn’t know you had to do that if you wanted
all your sims to sit down together…Anyways, Melchior is telling the kids about the
benefits of making good friends.
11. +
When they got home Emily and Eli played cops and robbers. Eli was the
cop first. He just shot his sister.
12. +
“Oh no! You got me! I’m dying! But I’ll come back and haunt you, copper!
You’ll be sorry!”
13. +
“Ha ha! The law wins, you bad guy!” Officer Eli pretended to kick his sister.
“I’m still going to haunt you,” grumbled Emily the dying robber.
14. +
Sylvia came home around dusk and I managed to manuever the family into
a family portrait. Aren’t Melchior and Eli cute in their matching coats? (I
really should be more attached to my girls in this, since it’s a matriarchy, but
I love my boys.)
15. +
Sunday is family day. Mom made omelettes and the family sat down to eat
together before going to church.
16. +
There’s always a meal after the church service. Eli and Melchior sat
together with some other sims. Baseball really is a big deal for these two.
17. +
That evening Melchior and Sylvia decided to go on a date. I tried inviting Arachne over
just before they left, thinking that having an adult sim on the lot would mean the parents
could go out without the annoying “you need a babysitter” pop up. Unfortunately, since I
don’t have Apartment Life, I can’t just ask a sim to babysit. I had to hire a nanny
anyways (but we’ll pretend Arachne was babysitting.)
18. +
The adult Goodes went out for dinner and a movie at the old cinema.
They’d like you to know that they do still have three bolts and are still very
much in love. Melchior always rolls at least one want for his wife every day.
19. +
When they got home, Melchior and Sylvia found Arachne and the kids eating
mac and cheese for dinner. (Mac and cheese is Emily’s favorite food, by the
way.)
20. +
Sylvia paid Arachne with a garden gnome to thank her for sitting. The funny
thing is, Arachne had stolen the gnome from the garden when she came
over. I guess she has two now.
21. +
Aagh! This is what the hostess at the restaurant did when Melchior and the
kids went out to eat. They won’t be going back there for a while!
