What do we currently offer?
• Contraceptive counselling & advice
• Contraceptive prescribing
• Provision of condoms
What additional services we now offer?
• Insertion of contraceptive coils
• Removal of contraceptive coils
• Insertion of contraceptive implants
• Removal of contraceptive implants
NHS App messaging
• Our SMS software provider have enabled
integration with the NHS App
• Messages from the Practice will be sent directly
into the NHS App rather than as an SMS
• If a patient doesn’t have the NHS App or doesn’t
read the message within a certain timeframe,
they’ll receive an SMS message

Flu
The yearly Flu campaign is currently open to eligible patients
Who is eligible for a Flu vaccine
It’s recommended for:
• Are aged 65 or over
• Have certain long-term health conditions
• Live in a care home
• Are pregnant
• Are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive a carer’s allowance
• Live with someone who has a weakened immune system
How to get a Flu vaccine
• Respond to self-book invites for our flu vaccination clinics at the surgery
• Submit an online form to book an alternative date at the surgery
• Patients unable to attend the surgery can also access flu vaccinations at most local

RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus)
RSV is a common cause of coughs and colds. Most people get it several
times during their life.
Who is eligible for an RSV vaccine
It's recommended for:
• If you are pregnant (from 28 weeks onwards) to help protect the baby
after they are born
• Those aged 75 to 79
• If you are aged 80 or over on or after the 1st September 2024 you are
eligible until the 31st August 2025
How to get the RSV vaccine
Your GP surgery will usually contact you when you become eligible for the
RSV vaccine
Please contact us if:
• you think you are eligible for the RSV vaccine, but you have not been
contacted
• you did not have the vaccine when you were contacted
