This presentation discusses the crisis in the Catholic Church, its causes, and its remedy. It asserts that the crisis was caused by liberalism, modernism, and errors that led to Vatican II. These errors included religious liberty, ecumenism, and collegiality. The presentation claims Vatican II and the Novus Ordo Mass led to a decline in the Church seen in statistics. It promotes the Society of St. Pius X and the traditional Latin Mass as the remedy, restoring the Church to its former state. The presenter takes questions on related topics.
This presentation will introduce the concepts and sacrament of matrimony as defined by the Vatican, the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops, Canon Law and Scripture in regards to the importance and dignity of the sacrament of marriage, the preparation for marriage, and the celebration of matrimony.
Relationships 101 Biblical Courtship and Marriagecebrooks50
These slides contain a brief introduction to biblical courtship. But be warned. What you are about to see may sound archaic, outdated, old-fashioned, ancient and very technical. Much of what Pastor Chuck Brooks is going to share is from a culture that has gone extinct in the United States but, be assured, the principals of courtship are found in God’s timeless and Holy Word. In its day biblical courtship kept many boys and girls from being sexually active before the age of 18. It kept millions of teenagers from getting pregnant annually. It kept pregnancies from ending in abortion. It kept many of our young women from becoming the victims of “date-rape.” Let’s revisit Relationships 101 from the biblical text.

Evangelii gaudium - A alegria do Evangelho - é a primeira Exortação Apostólica do pontificado de Papa Francisco. Trata do anúncio do Evangelho no mundo atual.
Here is my attempt to explain in short fashion what the Bible has to tell us about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, complete with my own short testimony of who God “zapped” me in as a Marine Lieutenant in Japan in 1973. God wants to fill us all again and again with His Spirit so we can be powerful and fruitful witnesses for Him here and around the world.
Pray for God to fill you again and to baptize you with His Spirit if you have never experienced that.

The Difference - the eternal Protestant/Catholic tension - was something that the Chronicles clearly helped to define, and if you are interested in the uncompromising pursuit of truth, I know of no more better, readable and concise introductory work than Keith's series.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Slide 2: Introduction to Mindfulness
Mindfulness, defined as the conscious, non-judgmental observation of the present moment, has deep roots in Buddhist meditation practice but has gained significant popularity in the Western world in recent years. In today's society, filled with distractions and constant stimuli, mindfulness offers a valuable tool for regaining inner peace and reconnecting with our true selves. By cultivating mindfulness, we can develop a heightened awareness of our thoughts, feelings, and surroundings, leading to a greater sense of clarity and presence in our daily lives.

7. IS THERE A CRISIS IN THE CHURCH
TODAY?
Thousands of priests have abandoned their
office, and thousands of monks and religious
have returned to secular life. There are very few
vocations in Europe and not many in North
America either; countless seminaries, convents,
and religious houses have closed their doors.
Many parishes lack priests, and religious
congregations are obliged to abandon schools,
hospitals, and homes for the aged.
8. WHAT THE POPES HAVE SAID
CONCERNING THE CRISIS IN THE CHURCH
9. POPE ST. PIUS X
"There is no part of Catholic truth which
they leave untouched, none that they do
not strive to corrupt." (Pascendi)
10. POPE PIUS XI
"The one Church of Christ is visible
to all and will remain, according to the
Will of its Author, exactly the same as
He instituted it." (Mortalium Animos, §15).
11. POPE PIUS XII
The persistence of Mary about the dangers
which menace the Church is a divine warning
against the suicide of altering the Faith, in Her
liturgy, Her theology and Her soul. … (in
reference to the Third Secret of Fatima.)
A day will come when the civilized world will
deny its God, when the Church will doubt as
Peter doubted. In our churches, Christians will
search in vain for the red lamp where God
awaits them.
12. POPE PAUL VI
“Through some crack the smoke of Satan
has entered into the Church of God.”
Papal address of June 30, 1972
“The opening to the world has become a
veritable invasion of the Church by worldly
thinking. “The Church is in a disturbed
period of self-criticism, or what could better
be called self-demolition.”
13. POPE JOHN PAUL II
European culture gives the impression of
“Silent Apostasy" on the part of people
who have all that they need and who live as
if God does not exist.
14. POPE BENEDICT XVI
"I am convinced that the crisis in the
Church that we are experiencing today is to
a large extent due to the disintegration of
the liturgy.”
"I was dismayed by the banning of the old
Missal seeing that a similar thing had never
happened in the entire history of the
liturgy....”
15. POPE FRANCIS:
Be mindful of those saints...of
the Church's rich bi-millenial
tradition, without pretending to
come up with a system of thought
detached from this treasury.
The “crisis of priestly
identity threatens us
all, and adds to the
broader cultural
crisis”
