IN THE BEGINNING
IN THE BEGINNING GOD CREATED THE HEAVEN AND
THE EARTH
The universe did not become by itself, because what does not yet exist
cannot appear by itself. The world, too, did not always exist but, it has its
beginning, and it has its age. How to prove the existence of the universe?
The only authentic answer can be found in the Bible. God created the world
and everything in it.
In the beginning, above all, there was a God.
The Bible begins with the story of God’s creation of the universe, heaven,
and sea; plants and trees; sun, moon, and stars; fish, birds, and animals. In
the end, he created the first people - in his image. He created a beautiful
garden to be their home. Everything was perfect.
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the
morning were the first day.
