Croatian mercenaries introduced distinctive scarves tied around their necks to the French court in 1635, which became wildly popular. The scarves were adopted as fashionable neckwear in France and England in the following decades. The French word "cravat" is derived from the Croatian soldiers, and by 1650 the Croatian scarf had evolved into the necktie as a symbol of men's fashion and individuality in Europe. Today there are over 85 recognized ways to tie a necktie.
This document features portraits and descriptions of several royal women including Princess Margaret, Princess Grace of Monaco, Princess Diana, Princess Anne, and Princess Michael of Kent. It discusses their fashion choices including wedding dresses and tiaras. Princess Diana is noted for her love of romantic gowns and jewels and her famous wedding dress with its 25 foot train. Princess Anne preferred riding to royal attire but wore the George III tiara on her wedding day. Princess Michael of Kent is shown wearing the pearl-and-diamond Kent festoon tiara to a London event.
The bowler hat originated in 1850 when it was designed by Lock's the hatters for William Coke II and made by hat maker William Bowler, becoming known as a "Bowler". It has a bowl-like shape and conjures an image of Britishness. The bowler hat became associated with several famous Englishmen like Charlie Chaplin and is still sometimes worn today in London as part of the unofficial uniform of the city gent, paired with a rolled black umbrella.
The kilt is experiencing a resurgence in popularity, driven by a renewed sense of Scottish pride. The hit TV show Outlander, set in 18th century Scotland, has increased interest in kilts among its many American viewers. Contemporary Scottish designers like Siobhan Mackenzie and Samantha McCoach are bringing the traditionally masculine kilt into modern fashion by updating the designs with lighter fabrics and bold colors. Their goal is to both preserve and promote Scottish textile heritage. The traditional kilt requires over 8 yards of heavy tartan fabric to make and can weigh up to 20 pounds, so modernizing the designs makes them more accessible and versatile for different contexts.
Victoria Stapleton founded the Scottish cashmere brand Brora in 1993. She now lives with her family in a historic 18th century estate called Hill House in Hertfordshire, England. The home has eclectic decor featuring family photos, antique furniture, and artwork collected during Stapleton's travels. Stapleton runs Brora from a design studio near the estate, and the brand is known for its high quality cashmere knits made in Scotland and worn by celebrities like Kate Middleton. The home serves as a gathering place for London friends and family, and Stapleton has no desire to return to city living in London.
1) New York Fashion Week began in February 2013 but was threatened by a major snowstorm named Nemo, which dumped 3 feet of snow. However, the shows went on as scheduled, with editors, bloggers and photographers braving the cold weather.

For centuries, trophy hunting was exclusively practiced by European royalty as a sport. The largest known private collection of Imperial German hunting trophies from the late 19th century is now available for purchase. It consists of around 430 mounts from royal families like the Hapsburgs and Hohenzollerns that were meticulously curated over 40 years by an anonymous collector. The collection provides insights into the royal passion for hunting and showcasing their skills and leisure time.
The hobby horse is a costumed character that appears in traditional seasonal customs and processions in parts of the world. In England, they are particularly associated with May Day celebrations, Mummers Plays, and Morris dancing. The most famous traditional British hobby horses are those that appear at the annual May Day 'Obby 'Oss festival in Padstow, Cornwall. There are two rival hobby horses, the Old 'Oss and the Blue Ribbon 'Oss, that dance through the streets accompanied by bands playing music.

This document discusses data breaches and the risks they pose. It notes that data breaches are increasing, with 19 people becoming identity theft victims every minute due to breaches. The document then discusses the black market value of different types of personal data and lists examples of data breaches at various organizations. It emphasizes that data risks are escalating and that employees are often the greatest data security threat.

How to Make a Field Mandatory in Odoo 17Celine George
In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.
