Watch the video, “The Bubonic Plague”. Using information from the video, answer the
following questions.
A. How do you think the disease, “The Black Death” spread from rats to humans?
From the humans touching the rats and propyl being in a room full of them.
B. How did the disease spread from rats to humans?
Rats were every were and people cared for them the rats carried a bacteria so
flees would go to rats sucking there blood and then back to humans back and
forth back and forth so the flee would carry the bacteria in the blood of rats to
humans
C. What strategy did the Mongolians use to take over the walled-city of Kafa?
They brot the pleg with them to help
D. Why did this strategy work?
It help because they had more people to have help from and so they got there
body’s and hid them.
E. In what 2 ways did the escaping Italian sailors spread the deadly bacteria?
1. Some of the soldiers were already infected from the air
2. And the rats on the bite and when they got to the town they started spreading it
F. What were some of the symptoms (signs) of the disease?
The stench, black spots on the body, and pukeing blood
G. What did the people do to try to escape the disease?
People moved across the world and then they kept spreading the stuff
H. How did the disease spread to Europe and England?
The people when they travel it spread cuz they still had it
I. What are the two reasons scientists believe the disease stopped spreading?
1. All the rats died
2. And that no more people were getting sick
1. I think the diseases infected the lungs.
