A former military serviceman, Paul Camara served as section chief of the Massachusetts Army National Guard. In 1997, he received the Army Achievement Medal (AAM). The AAM is awarded to members of the US Army who have demonstrated meritorious service or distinguished achievement in a non-combat assignment.
