THE 350 POST
Volume 1, Issue 1 MAY-JUNE 2006
From the Desk of Susan Gearey
The 350 Post has taken a hiatus for awhile due to many factors but I’m so
pleased to see that it’s back and looking so terrific, thanks to Danielle and every-
one that has contributed to this first edition.
First of all our huge success last year was due to everyone’s hard work and contribu-
tions from all the departments in the store. It is a collaborative effort and we would
have not seen our tremendous growth without the support from each of you and from
each area of the building. Our financial success along with a beautiful renovation is due
to all of you. I salute you and thank everyone who made it possible. I know we will see
continued success in 2006!
Recently, I have taken on additional responsibilities with the oversight for the Pacific
region in addition to the Northwest stores. This is an exciting time and a wonderful op-
portunity that I’m looking forward to. In addition to the existing 4 stores in Hawaii and 2
in Guam, we are opening a new store on the Big Island in the King’s Shops in Kona this “There is no right or wrong. I
November. I leave in a few days to visit these stores for the first time and I’m looking
work intuitively. I just jump
forward to learning about each market and how they differ, understand their client
base, and get to know their teams. I will be sure to report back on my trip in the next in and learn to swim later.”
edition on the 350 Post.

I have been asked what advise I would give any aspiring employee who is looking to
advance within our company or store. I can’t imagine a better place to begin or con-
tinue your working career than with Tiffany & Co.; we have so many opportunities open
to us. My advice would be to have patience, excel in your area of expertise, do what you
can to learn every aspect of your job and be sure to talk with your manager or supervi-
sor and express your desire to do more. Nothing gives me more pride and pleasure
than to have one of our team move onward and upward, it is always bittersweet to
see one of our group move away but knowing that they are starting a new chal-
lenge is exciting. I know you all join me in wishing Amy all the best in her new
position in Nashville, Grand Ole Opry here we come!!! Inside The 350

2. Tennessee Has A New Star In Nashville
Q: Where were you when you first heard about your promotion and how does it feel taking on
such a big role? What advise would you give to an aspiring employee and what will you miss most
about the city?
A: I was in New York meeting with our Regional Vice President, when I first heard about the
news I immediately called my family and friends. It has been eight years for an opportunity like
this to come by and here it is. Taking on a whole new market and introducing something phe-
nomenal to the people of Nashville, some of whom have never stepped into a Tiffany’s, is excit-
ing. The community of Nashville is known to be a huge volunteering town so I definitely look for-
ward to having the chance to be involved with some of the volunteering organizations. In addition
to this new role it also gives me the opportunity to instill and share with my staff everything that I
have come to learn and grasp knowledge of… Continued on pg. 4
