Psalm 100 is a psalm of thanksgiving that calls people of all lands to praise God joyfully for creating them and caring for them like a shepherd cares for his flock. The psalmist reminds the reader that God is good and his mercy and faithfulness endure forever. Galatians 2 details an incident where the Apostle Paul rebuked Peter for withdrawing from eating with Gentile believers out of fear of criticism from others. Paul reminds them that people are justified, or made righteous, through faith in Christ rather than by obeying religious laws. Living by faith and relying on God's grace through Christ, not the law, is the true path for believers.
