2. What is Textbook?
• Textbooks are standardized collection of the
subject matter that has to be taught to the
students. There are 3 types of textbooks.
• Reference books
• Main text books
• Supplementary books.

3. What is layout?
• The layout of a textbook is like the organized
arrangement of its content on each page.
• It includes titles and heading, text, pictures
and diagrams and how everything is
presented.

4. Layout of Textbook
• Cover:
The front of the book that usually
has the title, author, and maybe
some pictures related to the subject.
• Title Page:
The page right inside the cover that
officially states the book's title and
the author's name.
