Sara Bye was born and raised in Vermillion, South Dakota. She graduated from Vermillion High School in 2008 and attended South Dakota State University before transferring to the University of South Dakota to study elementary education. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, photography, shopping, and participated in volleyball, golf and 4-H growing up. Her goals are to become a first grade teacher in a small school to have more one-on-one time with students, and earn her real estate license to sell homes part-time. In 10 years, she hopes to be married, working as a teacher, owning a home, and living close to family.

2. Personal-
 I was born and raised in Vermillion, SD.
 I graduated from Vermillion High School in
2008, and started my freshman year in
college at South Dakota State University.
 I transferred to the University of South
Dakota once I decided my major.
 I have one brother and one sister who are
my best friends.

3. Hobbies
 I was in 4-h for 11 years.
 I played volleyball, and golf in high
school.
 I love to be outdoors and near a warm
beach.
 I also love to shop and I take pictures of
everything.

4. Professional Goals-
 Someday I would love to be a 1st
grade
teacher.
 I would like to teach in a smaller school, to
impact more lives and have the more one
on one time.
 I also plan to have my real estate license,
that way I can sell homes in the summer
and on my off time.

5. In 10 years-
 In ten years I would love to have a stable
job, a husband, and a nice home.
 I would love to be close to my family, yet
far enough away that they can’t come
over every minute.
