The Rules Do Apply: Navigating HR ComplianceAggregage
https://www.humanresourcestoday.com/frs/26903483/the-rules-do-apply--navigating-hr-compliance
HR Compliance is like a giant game of whack-a-mole. Once you think your company is compliant with all policies and procedures documented and in place, there’s a new or amended law, regulation, or final rule that pops up landing you back at ‘start.’ There are shifts, interpretations, and balancing acts to understanding compliance changes. Keeping up is not easy and it’s very time consuming.
This is a particular pain point for small HR departments, or HR departments of 1, that lack compliance teams and in-house labor attorneys. So, what do you do?
The goal of this webinar is to make you smarter in knowing what you should be focused on and the questions you should be asking. It will also provide you with resources for making compliance more manageable.
Objectives:
• Understand the regulatory landscape, including labor laws at the local, state, and federal levels
• Best practices for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective compliance programs
• Resources and strategies for staying informed about changes to labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
1. Background
why?When I was a small child my father took me to see
the crusaders castles and I fell in love with idea of
knighthood. My grandfather when I was young
decided to use that love to help bring together my
31 first cousins. We formed a knighthood to try to
keep the cousins on the straight path
After joining the church I had this feeling this
nagging inside of me that I needed to do
something. It was so strong I prayed and prayed
on it. One day I was reading D&C at the point of
Zion, and asked the Elders question about it.
Something inside me kept poking at me. One day
the elders and I were at a cookout with members,
investors and the others current elders from near
wards. I started joking about we should do
something about Zion and build it up like Joseph
wanted.
Later that week I still felt I am not doing something
that I should. Finally one night it came to me in a
dream. What could little old me do help the cause
of the church. In the dream my grandfather’s said
continue on. It all hit me at once. What skills do I
have? What have I been taught? What does the
church not have? I searched online and I found
what was missing.
And here it is!
2. Zion
Redeemer shall come to Zion:Isa. 59:20;
The cause of God is one common cause, in which the Saints are alike all interested;
we are all members of the one common body, and all partake of the same spirit,
and are baptized into one baptism and possess alike the same glorious hope. The
advancement of the cause of God and the building up of Zion is as much one man's
business as another's.
History of the Church, 4:609.
We feel disposed to go forward and unite our energies for the upbuilding of the Kingdom, and
established the Priesthood in their fullness and glory. The work which has to be accomplished in
the last days is one of vast importance, and will call into action the energy, skill, talent, and ability
of the Saints, so that it may roll forth with that glory and majesty described by the prophet [see
Daniel 2:34–35; 44–45]; and will consequently require the concentration of the Saints, to
accomplish works of such magnitude and grandeur.
History of the Church, 4:185–86.
The Blessed are they who shall seek to bring forth my Zion:1 Ne. 13:37;
The daughters of Zion are haughty:2 Ne. 13:16; ( Isa. 3:16; )
Seek to bring forth and establish the cause of Zion:D&C 6:6; ( D&C 11:6; )
Him have I inspired to move the cause of Zion in mighty power for good:
D&C 21:7;

fellowship and help support to the church of
Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It is an order of
knighthood currently not officially linked to the
