The QuickMast is a portable 16-foot tall mast system that can be broken down and carried in a single backpack, making it lighter and easier to deploy than previous masts. It can support up to 40 pounds of equipment on its masthead and can be set up by one person without tools. 2.  For situations in which a typical aluminum mast is too
heavy and unwieldy, Terra Ferma has come up with a
solution: the QuickMast. In designing the QuickMast,
the company focused on making it lighter and easier
to deploy than previous mast systems. The mast is 16
feet tall but can be broken down and carried in one
backpack. Its masthead can handle up to 40 pounds
of equipment, but no tooling is required to set it up.
The portability and low weight of the QuickMast make
it practical in a wide range of settings. One person
can stand up the mast, which is supported by four
cables and can be wrapped in a camouflage covering.

3.  It can hold numerous attachments via clips, and
it works well for the following applications:
- Vehicles and robots, including vehicle
communication and surveillance systems
- Motorized mast and boom systems or
embedded antenna mast systems
- Supporting the structure of lighting stands and
scaffolding
- Power generation via solar energy arrays or
wind turbines
