Born in Trinidad & Tobago with the birth name Lucretia Pierre, she found her niche for music from the tender age of 8 years where her first performance was to a humble store owner and his customers. The national church choir soon played an important role in shinning a light on this songstress’s gift and love for music. Realizing her talent and love for the music and performing/ entertaining. Tequila was exposed to various competitions and concerts, one being the well known National Music Festivals where she won three years consecutively the coveted trophy for soloist and duets. Not too long after the media got an insight on the talent and charisma that she delivered on a stage which was captured by audiences at competitions, events, nationally & internationally.<br /> <br />Tequila completed her secondary education and then grasped music fully by the horns. Genres such as Reggae, Pop, R&B, Classical, Jazz, Hip Hop, Soca, Chutney, Latin, oriental and Alternative to name some were all under this artiste’s repertoire. <br /> Tequila continued her performances at various events in Jamaica and Trinidad such as “The Island club casino” and other well known locations local and internationally. <br /> An execution of charisma, poise and an intoxicating sound that left one wanting more, earned her the sobriquet “Tequila” amongst media personnel and peers alike.
