This document discusses the problem of dishonesty and deceit. It begins by listing some common forms of deceit like slander, exaggeration, insinuation, silence, and hypocrisy. It then discusses identifying the motives behind deceit, such as fear, malice, greed, and peer pressure. Finally, it notes that deceit displeases God, destroys relationships, and damns one's soul. The overall message is a call to honesty and integrity by admitting problems with deceit, identifying the motives, and remembering that deceit only leads to misery.
Some people unwittingly choose destructive relationships over and over again. The consequences of their choices are painful and emotionally damaging, yet those that engage in this repetitive behavior never seem to learn from their experience.
This sermon deals with a common and often under-emphasized abuse - Gossip. In this sermon I suggest that gossip is tool by which Satan twists our God-given impulses to build intimacy and share good news and distorts them into a sharing of news not worth sharing at the expense of others. It builds a fragile intimacy and does great harm to the Body of Christ.
Mixed signals are the result of poor communication and that is something that is prevalent in our society! In this lesson we discuss the effects of mixed signals. Both audio and slides can be viewed together at www.cmcoc.org

God has given every believer the power to wage war against the devil and his agents. The big question is "do you know how to wage war against the enemy of your soul?"...

The Bible and experience confirms that our personalities, values, identity and conscience are largely formed by the family that raised us. We get "spiritual DNA" from our parents and ancestors that can be good and bad. Sin patterns, dysfunctional relationship patterns and coping mechanisms run in families. This is an intro to a huge and important topic that probably should be a series. This is a topic that can open up thinking and family discussions that could help heal and protect your family. This is not a topic most churches talk about but one they need to address due to the increases of sin and dysfunction in American families today.
WE DON'T KNOW ALL THE CONSEQUENCES OUR DECISIONS WILL BRING BUT GOD DOES! IF WE ALLOW OURSELVES TO BE GUIDED BY HIM, WE WILL ALWAYS ARRIVE AT THE RIGHT PLACE.

Gossip is a weed that troubles and chokes God's beautiful garden, the church. We must create culture and develop self-discipline that keeps His garden weed free. This message brings a Scriptural perspective on the issue of gossip, slander, back-biting, tale-bearing and provides instructions on how to fight it.

Regaining Civility in an increasingly uncivil societyStephen Palm
The collapse of civility in our political discourse is manifesting itself in violence and chaos. The Bible affirms both civility and truth and establishes a balance that is the corrective our culture desperately needs.
How do you respond to the idea that there are spiritual powers and demons in the universe that are working against God's will?
How are you aware of the spiritual warfare around you? If Satan is a "deceiver" and our Lord calls him "the father of lies" then how have his lies affected your life? What lies have you believed (in the past, or possibly now) about yourself, others and God? These and other questions are addressed in this study.
The Epistle of Jude is the only book that is completely dedicated to the sin of Apostasy and its consequences - setting the stage for understanding the background of the world in the days in which Revelation would occur .
Citizens who materially undermine our national interest, especially security, are considered traitors or collaborators with the enemy. This is true if they provide military secrets, transfer technology, or, in come cases, speaking in a way that demoralizes the troops (Hanoi Jane).
The children of God can behave in a way that makes them traitors too (Eze. 13:22). They will claim it is not evil, but good. And, they will act regardless of the destruction it causes. In so doing, they tarnish their reputation among the faithful.
In this study we will notice how Christians strengthen the hands of the wicked when they:
1. Commit sin with them;
2. Uphold the sin;
3. Hinder the truth.

The Book of Joshua is the sixth book in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and is the first book of the Deuteronomistic history, the story of Israel from the conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile.
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

19. John 8:44
You belong to your father, the devil,
and you want to carry out your father's
