Pengertian telling time
Telling time terdiri dari dua kata
“telling”yang memiliki arti
pemberitaan,sedangkan “time” yang
memiliki arti waktu.secara terminologi
,telling time merupakan suatu
informasi terkait tentang waktu yang
diberikan dengan tujuan agar
seseorang mengetahui keadaan
waktu pada saat beraktivitas.telling
time juga lebih dikenal dengan
menyebutkan waktu dalam bahasa
inggris.

Telling Time memiliki beberapa istilah yaitu :
1.Ante Meridiem (A.M) : 12 malam s/d 12 siang
2.Post Meridiem (P.M): 12 siang s/d 12 malam
3.long hand: Jarum panjang
4.Short hand: Jarum pendek
5.Second hand: Jarum detik
6.Alarm clock: Jam beker
7.Clock: Jam dinding
8.Watch : Jam tangan
9.Hour : Jam
10.Minute : Menit
11.Second : Detik
12.O'clock: Digunakan untuk menunjukan jam ketika jarum panjangnya tepat ke jam 12.
13.Past: Lebih
14.To: Kurang
15.A quarter: Seperempat atau 15 menit
16.A half: Setengah atau 30 menit
