Ted 2 is a sequel film directed by Seth McFarlane, who also wrote and voiced the main character Ted. It received mixed reviews but made over $215 million at the box office. The film is constantly compared to Family Guy due to the connections between Seth McFarlane and the creative teams. Some of the plot and jokes are similar or copied directly from Family Guy episodes. The film uses postmodern techniques like pastiche, parody, and hyperreality.
