Family Guy V Ted 2
• Constantly being compared due to background and connections
between them.
• However some of the film is too similar to Family Guy.
• For example films plot is similar to Family Guy Episode ‘Brian
Portrait of a Dog’
• Many of the jokes in the film have been re used by Seth Mcfarlane
from Family Guy, for example the scene where Johnny slips into a
sperm donation shelf has been copied from Family Guy as Peter is
seen doing the exact same thing.

Why it’s Postmodern
• Pastiche as parodies and pays tribute to
Cowboy Twitty.
• Idea of talking bear who is on drugs and
married is postmodern.
• Good product placement
• Hyperreality used.
