A technology leadership model outlines the responsibilities of technology leaders, which include providing support, being in charge of operations, optimizing hardware and software, and implementing changes. Technology leaders act as a service desk to handle incidents and problems, monitor systems for service, administration, security, and storage management. They are also responsible for optimizing management of services, capacity, availability, security, finances, workforce, and continuity. Technology leaders further handle all changes, configurations, and releasing responsibilities to teammates.
