For a Engineering Case competition "Mechathon" in BUET we made this masterpiece. I make the whole design of this slide (Yes I show flex!!!). And all the content combined here are the hardworking of our team. Seriously they are blessing for me. Oh sorry I don't tell you there name. Our team Flexure are the combination of Bornil Debnath, Oishik Majumder , Aurnob Sarker and I(MD. Salehin Islam) . With this presentation we became the finalist of that Mechathon which we don't expect. Seriously bro this is our first time perticipation in a engineering case competition.

Problem Statement
Flexure
How does Nafiz, as an engineer and a BUET alumni
tackle the process from seed sowing to harvesting of
paddy using aggrotech in the perspective of Bangladesh?
3. Key Issue Recommendation Strategy Implementation Financial
Proposed Solution
Flexure
Seed Sowing to
Harvesting
Outsourcing latest
weeding technology
Integrated Fertigation
& Pest Control
System
5. Water Level Sensors and Moisture Sensors detect the water level
to decide irrigation . This process is called Alternate Wetting &
Drying

Integrated Fertigation System with Smart Light Traps
Flexure
pH or electrolyte sensors can be used to automate fertilization
process
Computer vision & AI can be implemented in light traps to
detect the need of pesticides

Integrated Fertigation System with Smart Light Traps
Flexure
Instead of using water to irrigate the land directly, water
is channeled to a mixing chamber
The mixing chamber is connected to NPK fertilizer and
pesticide tanks
Farmer decides and fills the tanks as need of the crop
and the season

Integrated Fertigation System with Smart Light Traps
Flexure
Smart light traps are equipped
with several sensors as well as a
solar panel to work off-grid
Sends information to the Control
Panel
Approximately 4 traps are used
per Hectare land

Weeding Process
Computer vision + Thermal Energy
> identifying and killing weeds
Speedy, Precise and Durable
Promotes healthier plant growth and
soil quality
Cost effective with a break even
point of 2-3 years

Flexure
Strength
Most raw materials needed for our Integrated Fertigation
and Smart Light Traps are commonly available
Adopting Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD) saves
30% irrigation water and energy, yielding 500 kg extra
Boro rice per hectare.
Research shows using light traps as a natural method of
pest control can reduce adverse effects of pests by at-least
40%

Flexure
Strength
Autonomous control of different zones
Familiar with Light Traps & AWD technology
Fertigation technology requires 50% less fertilizers
11. Key Issue Recommendation Strategy Implementation Financial
Flexure
Challenges
Need proper training before implementation
Fertilizers and Pesticides are required to be in liquid form
