During her education, she worked as a birthing assistant which allowed her to apply her psychological knowledge to childbirth. She is interested in pursuing a graduate degree in prenatal and prenatal psychology due to seeing a need in this area from her work with birthing mothers. Her goal is to counsel birthing mothers and their partners to help prepare them for childbirth. She feels grateful to Argosy University for providing her the opportunity to complete her education and pursue her dreams.
Simulation: Winning with a Faculty Training Website Repository INACSL 2013Lori Lioce
This document outlines the development of a faculty training website for simulation at the University of Alabama Huntsville College of Nursing. It describes a 4 phase process: 1) Identifying the program framework and objectives, 2) Determining the method of dissemination and user accessibility, 3) Designing the layout and crucial elements, and 4) Orienting users and establishing training, utilization and quality improvement. The website would provide on-demand 24/7 access for faculty to simulation scenarios, educational resources, and training materials organized by topic. It aims to retain and build facilitator expertise through initial and ongoing training supported by champions and strategic monitoring of usage.

Reporting principles for every QA manager PractiTest
Joel Montvelisky, Chief Solution Architect at PractiTest, gave a webinar on reporting principles for QA managers. He discussed decision-driven test management (DDTM), where testing is planned based on the information stakeholders need to make decisions. He emphasized the need for repetition and using multiple reporting channels like dashboards and emails. Montvelisky recommended "numberless reporting" using labels rather than numbers, and provided tips for effective reporting including starting with the bottom line, keeping reports simple, and being willing to correct yourself.
There are four main methods used for changing attitudes in performance interventions: exposure effect, reinforcement, changing viewpoints, and persuasive communication. The exposure effect uses repeated positive experiences to form attitudes. Reinforcement uses classical and operant conditioning to reward desirable behaviors. Changing viewpoints discusses connecting thoughts and feelings to develop new perspectives. Persuasive communication draws on advertising techniques to influence attitudes through credible sources, effective messages, and understanding the audience.

CAKE: Sharing Slices of Confidential Data on BlockchainClaudio Di Ciccio
Presented at the CAiSE 2024 Forum, Intelligent Information Systems, June 6th, Limassol, Cyprus.
Synopsis: Cooperative information systems typically involve various entities in a collaborative process within a distributed environment. Blockchain technology offers a mechanism for automating such processes, even when only partial trust exists among participants. The data stored on the blockchain is replicated across all nodes in the network, ensuring accessibility to all participants. While this aspect facilitates traceability, integrity, and persistence, it poses challenges for adopting public blockchains in enterprise settings due to confidentiality issues. In this paper, we present a software tool named Control Access via Key Encryption (CAKE), designed to ensure data confidentiality in scenarios involving public blockchains. After outlining its core components and functionalities, we showcase the application of CAKE in the context of a real-world cyber-security project within the logistics domain.

HCL Notes und Domino Lizenzkostenreduzierung in der Welt von DLAUpanagenda
Webinar Recording: https://www.panagenda.com/webinars/hcl-notes-und-domino-lizenzkostenreduzierung-in-der-welt-von-dlau/
