Humans have engaged in graffiti for millennia, from ancient declarations of love to modern political and social messages. While some view graffiti as ugly or irresponsible, others see it as a defiant artistic expression that originated as a means for marginalized groups to have their voices heard. The history of graffiti as an art form can be traced back to teenagers in the 1960s and 1970s who began tagging walls and subway cars as a means of self-expression.
The document discusses the history and origins of graffiti. It traces graffiti back to ancient Rome, where political statements and satire were scratched onto walls. The word "graffiti" comes from the Italian word "graffiato," meaning scratched. Modern graffiti emerged in New York in the 1970s, where artists would tag trains as a way to gain exposure and mark their territory across the city. The document explores both the legal and illegal aspects of graffiti and provides tips for creating graffiti-style lettering on paper.

The feedback I received from my tutor was helpful. They suggested simplifying some elements of my poster design to make the key information stand out more clearly. Based on this feedback, for my second version I removed some unnecessary text that was cluttering the design. The tutor also noted that some of the font colors blended in too much with the background image. To address this, in my second version I chose font colors that had higher contrast against the background for better readability. Overall, receiving feedback helped me identify areas I could strengthen, and applying those suggestions improved the clarity and effectiveness of my poster design.
This document provides a template for a technology-enhanced kindergarten lesson plan about people and places in the local community. The lesson involves students using an online neighborhood building tool to discuss community features. They will then read books, watch videos, and sing songs to learn about community helpers and buildings.
