The Cross-Cultural Community Services Association was founded in 1973 to serve the Toronto Chinese community, became a registered charity in 1976, and changed its name in 2007 to reflect a broader cross-cultural mandate. The organization provides settlement services to newcomers through counseling, information workshops, and fact sheets to help immigrants adapt to Canadian life and systems. Services focus on education, employment, health care, housing, benefits, and social assistance.
