2. My First Impressions
● I had a lot of reservations about putting in so
much work before even being hired!
● I was used to the typical routine of submitting
my resume and cover letter and waiting to
hear back.
● “Maybe this isn't for me.”
3. My First Impressions Cont.
● Doing more research and stumbling upon
discussions and projects related to Lifebushido
peaked my interest.
● The Coffee Stories creative project caught my
attention. As a coffee shop aficionado, I could
instantly relate to the project.
● “Could Lifebushido be something I could do?”
4. My Triangle
● I thought it was too late to join a triangle.
● I thought that I had messed up the entire
process and that I should probably wait an
entire month to reapply.
● Preshus Clay emails me and asks me to join
her the Efficiency Triangle!
● She explains the entire process and motivates
me to catch up!
● I decide to become a Visionary.
6. Task 1 - Recruit Circles of Clients
● This task allowed me to put my organizational
skills to work.
● I worked efficiently, which allowed me no room
to make errors.
● Interacting with potential future clients, even on
a small level, inspired me and made me eager
to obtain this job.
7. Task 2 - Creative Brainstorming
Task
● This task forced me to THINK!
● I wondered to myself “Am I creative and
innovative enough for this assignment?”
● I allowed my brain to work and I was impressed
by the quality of work I produced. All it required
was a bit of thinking.
8. Task 3 - Marketing Awareness -
Post Lifebushido Information
● This task seemed simple enough at first. “Post
a few sentences on a forum and Craigslist,
easy!”
● What made this task challenging was knowing
that other people would see the posts. This
post/ad had to be inspiring and professional or
else no one would care to respond.
● I took the time to make my posts seem more
personal and not like spam.
9. Task 4 - Creative Lifebushido
Vision - Write/Audio/Video
● This Powerpoint is my Task 4. It's my vision
and proof of my hard work and motivation.
● It has allowed me to think back from day one til
now. I am proud of my efforts.
10. How the Process Helped
● I embrace deadlines now because they allow
me to stay on track. I know exactly what is
expected of me!
● I was able to find out more about myself. I know
my strengths and weaknesses when it comes
to working at home.
● I feel I now know how to successfully schedule
my day and be more productive.
11. What's next?
● I hope to be hired on with Lifebushido.
● I hope to make strong connections within the
company, both personal and professional.
12. Conclusion
● Special Thanks to my Team Leader Preshus
Clay.
● I hope this presentation helps someone out
there. Even if it sparks curiosity in Lifebushido.

13. Bonus! A copy of my submission
to the Coffee Stories project.
I have several fond memories that involve a local coffee shop. North Side Social
in Arlington, VA is where this story takes place.
My friends and myself place our food orders at the counter and decide to take our
coffee and tea outside into the seating area. We notice that all the good spots are
taken, so we take a cramped spot under the awning. The music is blaring since we
are so close to the speaker. We sip on our drinks and nibble on a block of cheese.
It's been a long day and we are starving! We are still pretty bummed that the wine
drinkers were able to sip in the super comfortable patio chairs. We promise each
other that next time, we'll get to the coffee shop earlier and snag good seats.
We decide to start a game of Scrabble while we wait for our meals to come out. It
gets cloudier out. Rebecca wonders if we should move inside, but Patty confirms
that the inside is packed. I notice a few drops of rain on the pavement and realize
that the wine drinkers look nervous. Suddenly, the wind picks up and the wine
drinkers hold onto their glasses and run inside just as it begins to pour.
We got up and before we put our game away, we noticed our Scrabble board, table,
and clothes were safe from the rain. We sat back down and our food arrived. As it
continued to rain, we enjoyed the rest of our evening. In the end, we did indeed
have the best seats!
