  4. 4. Say Yes more. At least think before you say No. When you graduate you don’t know what you wanne do. Say Yes to lots of things. The more things you do, the more you’ll know what you want and like.

  11. 11. Ask. If you don’t get asked, you can’t say YES. So if you want something, ask yourself. The worst thing that can happen is that you get a NO. And you already had a NO, so you have nothing to lose. Dare to ask !

  13. 13. Make a lot of plans and tell people about the plans. First they will help you. People like to help other people. And Second, telling people about your plans, will help you stick to the plan. A little pressure never hurt anyone. Plan.
  14. 14. But more important. Not everything goes to plan. Don’t worry. Change the plan. The things you like at 21 are not the same things you like at 35 or 45. So make plans but don’t be afraid to change them. Only stupid people never change their mind (plans) Change the plan.

  16. 16. Once school ends and work starts, it’s like someone pushes the fastforward button. Days, weeks, months, years (yes, years) flash by. 
  17. 17. Push the pause button every once and a while. Enjoy a coffee break, enjoy a month off the grid, It doesn’t matter. As long as you pause. It sounds easier than it is.
  18. 18. Go for your plans, climb those mountains, but enjoy the view on top before you start the climb of the next mountain. Even better, pauze in the middle and enjoy the path you’ve taken and where you are at that time. Enjoy the ride.
