1. Busca información en la Base de Datos CINAHL, tanto en la búsqueda libre como con
descriptores, sobre el siguiente tema:
“Exploración, diagnóstico y terapia manipulativa en la articulación del tobillo”
2. Limita la búsqueda solamente a artículos publicados desde 2010.
3. Exporta los resultados de la búsqueda por descriptores a tu cuenta de Mendeley y
crea la bibliografía en formato Vancouver.
4. Crea una alerta semanal para recibir noticias sobre el tema
5. Publica todo el proceso de la realización de la tarea en tu blog.
4. Accedemos a la Biblioteca de la US para
acceder a CINAHL, buscando la base de datos
mediante el Catálogo FAMA.

6. Buscamos en DeCS los descriptores necesarios para crear la búsqueda en
inglés. Vamos a usar los siguientes términos:
- Articulación del tobillo = Ankle Joint
- Examen físico = Physical Examination
- Diagnóstico = Diagnosis
- Terapia por manipulación = Musculoskeletal Manipulations
9. Clicamos en Descriptores CINAHL y en el cuadro de búsqueda,
insertamos nuestro primer descriptor. La búsqueda por
descriptores se realiza insertando primeramente los buscadores
que vayan relacionados con el operador booleano OR.
Empezamos por “Physical Examination”.

con O (OR) y clicamos en
“Bases de datos de
investigación”. Esa primera
búsqueda quedará guardada
en el historial de búsqueda.
13. Una vez realizada la
búsqueda anterior,
procedemos a buscar el
siguiente término, en este
caso, “Ankle Joint”,
quedando ésta guardada en
el historial de búsqueda.
14. Accedemos al Historial de búsqueda y encontramos las
dos búsquedas realizadas anteriormente catalogadas con
un ID. Seleccionamos ambas y clicamos “Buscar con
AND” para relacionarlas y obtener una tercera búsqueda
(S1 AND S2).

RIS y clicamos “Guardar”. Posteriormente
se descargarán los archivos que
importaremos a Mendeley para crear
nuestra bibliografía. Como cada uno puede
contener máximo 50 elementos, para
exportar todos los elementos (63),
necesitaremos dos archivos.
19. Abrimos Mendeley y clicamos en “Add – Add
files” para añadir los documentos RIS generados
previamente. Posteriormente, para cambiar el
estilo de citación a Vancouver, clicamos en
“View – Citation Style – Vancouver”.
20. Eliminamos de la bibliografía los apéndices “City” y
“URL” y copiamos los resultados seleccionando todos
los elementos y clicando “botón derecho – Copy As –
Formatted Citation”
