LRQA North America Lead Referral Program Participation Criteria
Please carefully read through and understand LRP criteria and note that the LRP program may be withdrawn or changed at any time.
What is a lead?
A lead is any and all clients or prospective
clients who express interest in an LRQA
service. For example, they request
information, request a quotation, request
course registration, request contact, request
follow up, etc.
To qualify as a lead under the LRP, the lead
must be submitted using the LRQA LRP Lead
Entry Form.
Who is eligible and who gets
credit for the lead?
• All LRQA employees (excluding Sales
and Marketing employees) in the US and
Canada are eligible to participate in this
program. The LRQA Americas Leadership
Team* is not eligible for payment through
this program. The LRQA Americas Area
Sales Manager has the initial responsibility
of determining lead qualification under
the program; however, the Americas Area
Operations Manager has final responsibility
for resolving any eligibility or program
questions.
• Lead credit will be provided to the person(s)
who generated the eligible lead and has
submitted the lead through the LRQA LRP
Lead Entry Form.
• LRP Leads must be provided before the
quotation is issued.
What types of leads are not
included?
• The intent of this program is to reward
employees or subcontractors for developing
leads for new business. Therefore, routine
situations where the client has called us to
ask for additional info, or Client Information
Forms (CIFs) submitted by clients do NOT
qualify. Questions on eligibility can be
directed to the Sales Managers or escalated
to the Americas Leadership Team for final
resolution if necessary. All leads will be
verified to confirm they are related to new
business development (vs. renewals or
extensions of existing scopes of work).
• Pay-outs will only be made on the initial
opportunity; any future resulting business
does not qualify.
Is recommending Training
to a client consultancy or a
conflict of interest?
• It is totally acceptable for Assessors/Client
Services to recommend attendance on
LRQA public training events as an integral
part of clients’ general organizational
improvement plans. Training can
also be recommended in response to
Nonconformities (NCs) provided the
assessor also indicates there are other
training providers available.
• However, what is not allowed is
recommending on-site solutions or
workshops specifically designed to address
and actually solve any NCs raised by LRQA
assessors. This would normally constitute
lack of impartiality and would likely be
considered consultancy by our accreditors.
How are leads created and
where can I track my lead?
Complete the LRQA LRP Lead Entry
Form with lead information for instant
acknowledgement and tracking in Salesforce.
The lead will be allocated to a member of
the sales team for follow-up. Sources for the
leads will be tracked in Salesforce, reported
every month and made visible in Sales folder
in Link. You may access the LRQA LRP Status
Report in Link at all times or contact the
Sales Managers at any time for the status of
your lead.
How often will the payments
be made?
Payouts will be made by the 15th of the
month following the month in which the
quote is issued and/or contract is won.
When can payments not be
made?
Payment cannot be made if the lead was
generated by an Assessor or employee
who, within the previous 2 years or as is
defined by the specific standard’s or scheme’s
accreditation requirements, has also provided
consultancy services to the prospective client.
Note, for some standards and schemes,
the duration may be more or less than 2
years; for clarification, please contact the
appropriate program, standard or scheme
Technical Manager. This is an important
element of the rules of LRQA’s accreditation.
