TAO is an open-source computer-based assessment platform that allows users to create, deliver, and analyze tests and assessments. It includes modules for developing test items and tests, managing test takers and groups, delivering tests online or offline, and analyzing results. The platform is open-source, supports multiple languages and item types, and has been used successfully in education and research projects in Europe. Future updates will provide additional features and compatibility with standards like QTI IMS.
