This syllabus outlines a Table Tennis class that will teach fundamental techniques over the course of the semester. Students will learn techniques ranging from basic rules and grips to advanced serves, smashes, lobs, and loops. There are 11 techniques listed in order of increasing difficulty. Students are allowed up to 3 absences, and make-up classes can be attended at weekly Friday night practices. Requirements for passing include learning the techniques and adhering to the attendance policy.

Hi guys, welcome to the BU Table Tennis Class!
In this class, you will learn about the fundamentals of
Table Tennis, we will be going over each of the
techniques listed below so get ready for some real

Passing this Class
We allow up to 3 absences, anymore than that you will have to make up class by going to Table Tennis
Club Practices held on Friday nights.
Absence without excuse = 1
Absence with excuse = ½
If for some reason, you are unable to attend class just e-mail either of the instructors or talk to us before
the class. This way you will only be mark off for ½ of an absence.
Make Up Class / More Table Tennis
To make up a class, please talk to either instructor beforehand so we know you are coming to a club
practice to make up the class. Or you may just come by the club practices for fun, we meet every Friday
and Saturday @FitRec lower court same location as the class. Please check our website for exact hours
