- 6. • Acts asa liaison to DPW and ensures that all sidewalk landscape permits are approved • Completes the permit drawing and submits the Sidewalk Landscape Permit • Coordinates the concrete removal and courtesy strip installation • Manages the sidewalk garden installation, materials & volunteers What does FUF do?

Path of Travel, within the property is eligible • Sidewalk Landscape Permit required • Courtesy strip & walk-through required Sidewalk Landscape vs Basin Expansion Approved Basin Expansion • Expands the basin around large, mature trees only • Dimension is determined by DPW • No permit required • No courtesy strip required or installed

- 10. Maintaining Your Sidewalk Garden •Maintenance is the responsibility of property owner • Gardens must be maintained as it shown on SWL Permit • Water at least twice/week until plants are established • Water once/week during dry periods • Weed, removal trash & prune plants regularly
