The South West Investment Group provides financial support to businesses, social enterprises, and individuals who face challenges in obtaining loans from traditional banking institutions. Operating in the South West, they offer affordable loans and business support services, including a national scheme for start-up loans aimed at young entrepreneurs aged 18-30. They were originally established as the Cornwall Enterprise Board in 1989 and continue to be linked with various business support agencies.

- #3 If you ’re looking for funding for a new business or to expand and grow your existing business it can sometimes feel as though you are trying to find your way through the fog. Then all of these terms like BIG, ERDF, CDFA, Convergence etc emerge from the fog, but they themselves can be equally as confusing as the white space until it ’s all becomes a blur of funds, acronyms and jargon.
