and evaluation of novel initiatives and programs. Topics include:
• Pre-hospital patient care
• Operations, communications, and equipment
• Training and education
• Administration and agency development
• Career and alumni resources
• Campus public health and safety
Authors of accepted abstracts will present posters at a 1-hour
academic poster session.
All accepted abstracts will be published in JCEMS.

SUSTAIN-T-Technologies for Sustainable Development is an ERASMUS MUNDUS
Partnership (EMA2 strand1) project funded by the European commission, coordinated
by Politecnico di Milano and co-coordinated by Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. The
project aims at enhancing the international capacity of European and Latin American
Institutions on innovative technologies for sustainable development.
The SUSTAIN-T project provides scholarships to undergraduate and master students,
doctorate, post-doctorate, Academic and Administrative staff for mobility between Europe and
Latin America, mainly in the areas of Engineering,Architecture and Urban Planning.
