Experience & Deliverables
· Implemented the Human Resources module within which was set up:
· Human Resources
· Payroll
· Designed a custom check layout
· Benefits
· Plan Master
· Benefit Groups
· Benefit Categories
· And the interactions among them
· Paycheck reconciliation
· All of the required Pay Types, Deductions, Benefits and Accruals as mandated by the company
statement of policy and procedure
· The Payroll AAI’s
· Tax areas as needed to use with the Quantum tax calculation software, corporate tax ID’s and
Unemployment Insurance Rates.
· Trained the users at the implementation site in Payroll, Human Resources and Time Entry
including in the creation of templates for time entry import from excel in order to make them more
efficient by eliminating hand entry of the time into the JDE software.
· Packaged, built and deployed new applications and revised software coding (very basic only) as
needed to help support the technical staff.
· Due to the ever changing needs of HR, PR, Accounting, Finance and government reporting it has
been found to be most advantageous to create applications over the data that would be most used
for reporting. This enables the user to export the data into an excel format and slice, dice,
reorganize and run mathematical functions to meet the need at hand. At ****** three applications
were created that cover their needs:
· A 401K output file; for e-mailing to the bank with the appropriate employee deferral and
employer match data.
· A Historical Accumulations by Month application for GL budget auditing and tax reporting
purposes.
· An output application triggered by check date that shows Y-T-D dollars and hours for every pay
type, deduction, benefit and accrual for each employee. It also includes other pertinent data
such as workers compensation code, department and job type so that it is applicable for a
myriad of HR and Management purposes and surveys.
