Team is a group of people who are together to achieve a common goal- A.docxEdwardDw5Mitchelld
Team is a group of people who are together to achieve a common goal. A group of people means that the mind, way of behaviour, thoughts, everything is different in different individuals. So difference in opinion, resistance to accept others, disputes are all bound to happen.
I was once involved in a team which was formed to plan and conduct our college management fest. There were multiple teams created for the activity like technical team, food committee, arts team, finance and budgeting team etc. I was a member of the technical team. Dispute of all the differences as individuals, we were supposed to be linked and work collectively to achieve the goal of setting up a website, manage it, invite applications for various activities and basically our aim was to increase the reach of our program. We conducted meetings on a daily basis and major breakthrough decisions were contributed by all of us. Everything's was going smoothly, and one day we came to know that the leader that we collectively selected for our team was misinterpreting about our work to the managing teacher, our coordinator. Despite us giving ideas and arranging everything he was making it seem like to our coordinator that everything was his idea and nobody is working and it was just him working day and night. We came to know about this when the teacher sent a message in the group chat claiming that if he is the only one working, then what is this team for. He knew he was lying and when we came to know about it it hurt us. So we confronted him and he finally told the truth to the coordinating teacher.
I do agree with how the team dealt with it because at first a few of us was like, we worked this much and he is claiming that he is the one working and giving ideas, then why are we working. The thing to be noted is our team is like an important team, we are supposed to spread the program and bring in the applications for the event. As the team slowly started to split everything was falling apart because of his actions. Team.members were offended and was like, " okay, then let him do ". So when we told mam that we are no more going to be a part of the team and told her the truth, she called him and confronted him. Once he said the truth, mam was sorry too. And he apologized as well. If it didn't happen kids would have simply left the team and never participated in any other function. But that action actually saved the day.

Teams that rush to make quick decisions in order to avoid disagreement.docxEdwardDw5Mitchelld
Teams that rush to make quick decisions in order to avoid disagreement experience a problem called premature closure. Premature closure occurs when a team reaches a conclusion before considering all alternatives and perspectives. This can lead the team to make a suboptimal decision that does not fully address the problem or take advantage of opportunities.

Draw survivorship curves for 2 human populations: The following life table has calculated l ( x ) for two human populations in two different time frames. Please graph the survivorship patterns of both populations, decide on which survivorship curve type it belongs to and discuss why it is so different. Table 2: Life tables for 2 human populations.
