February 24, 2014 - Superintendent's update to the Board
The superintendent provided an update on upcoming events in the Vancouver School District for the month of June 2014. Key events included the Kitsilano Fine Arts Night on an unspecified date, as well as several seismic open houses at Carleton and John Oliver Secondary schools in late February. The ACE IT Tour was scheduled for February 27 and music performances were planned at Churchill Secondary on February 28. The Vancouver District Science Fair would take place on March 7 and the VSB Board would highlight math students from Churchill on March 10. School visitations were also noted.

- #4 On the evening of February 12, Kitsilano Secondary was packed with artwork, artists, staff and parents. The school was hosting their annual Kits Fine Arts night, which featured an eclectic mix of graphic, visual and performing arts.
