Class size and Composition update
Westill have an on-going bargaining impasseand job action – hoping
for a mutually agreed upon settlementsoon.
Bill 28 class size and composition legislation will likely need to be tabled
in the next session given the requirementsof the SupremeCourt
decision by Madam Justice Susan Griffin.

with disabilities held on February 9th
Attended the SpringFestival at a reception at the Chinese Consulateon
February 10th – I gave welcomingremarksto the ConsulGeneraland
about 100 guests.
Attended a meeting on February 14th along with other senior VSB staff
with VPL staff at the downtown library – wediscussed Strategic
planning, the sectoral review and our mutualfacility needs,
developmentof inquiry/literacy skills, technology infrastructure and
renewingan existing letter of agreement.
