WORK EXPERIENCE:
R&D Engineer- Nokia Networks, India Jun 2013 – Jul 2015
Developed and tested (framework level) a software feature as a part of 2G GSM BTS Transport team, which involved the
calculation of the time-stamp of each packet (resolving delay issues) transmitted over the air interface towards the network.
Designed a mechanism for Fastpath crash debugging involving CVMX APIs which involved generating a back-trace during a
crash and decoding the same using shell script.
GSM adaptations for Common Code Virtual Transport Core in 2G/3G and 4G projects was handled with a lot of code
restructuring, design changes of the existing code associated with Makefiles and compilation procedure with C/C++.
Derived hands on experience while interacting with Aricent team at Gurgaon to bring up the test setup to successfully deliver
a critical feature with verified system level testing.
Provided support for both encryption and IP fragmentation & reassembly in Fastpath to avoid packet drops and re-assembly
without impacting performance.
Software Engineer Intern- National Instruments, India Jan 2013 – Jun 2013
Developed FPGA Automated Test Engine using LabVIEW to test the Real-Time products of Real Time team.
ACADEMIC PROJECTS:
Design of a new Compiler with Runtime
Simple, statically typed language which possess Modular programming, Looping constructs, Recursion, Scope resolution was
designed and developed using ANTLR, Java and Python.
Human Security Interaction
Crawled websites for collection of data breaches and classified them pertaining to human involvement. Demonstrated a CLI
implementation (python) for email spoofing in Kali Linux to exploit penetration tests in the network.
Data science Problem on “What’s cooking?”
Analyzed the data obtained involving collection, processing and cleaning. Developed predictive models for cuisine prediction
from the list of given ingredients using Naïve Bayes Classification and Support Vector Machine algorithms. Employed
Xgboost library for gradient boosting framework with the platform being R.
Simulation of Thread/Process Scheduler [Linux, C]
Developed several modules for implementing non pre-emptive OS scheduler for a multi-threading environment. Realized the
system using semaphores, monitors, and mutexes and used it to obtain solution for reader’s writer’s problem.
Agile Tweet Visualization
Depicted a data model to crawl over twitter data and built visualization engine to craft and tailor visual patterns using Pharo
and Roassal descriptive language.
