Woodpecker provides three suggestions for improving human-centered design interviews and transcription:
1. Use a HAND CARD with interview questions printed on it to replace paper and allow interviewers to quickly flip between questions.
2. Wrap a voice recorder in cardboard with a hole to record interviews clearly and draw a smiley face to make respondents more comfortable.
3. Print interview transcripts in two column format and cut and paste key sentences onto post-its for a more efficient transcription process.
