This picture of me was taken in 2003,
while I was in front of the main building
of Nanchang University. After four years
study, I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in
management. I attended many activities
such as training staff for four-star hotel
and organizing events as a student union
member, which gave me confidence and
competence.
At that time I was already in the position
of an assistance of president in a big
company because of my excellent
communication and coordination skills. I
was on my way to a bright future.
As an operation manager in a lighting
company, I attended “Guangzhou
International Lighting Exhibition” in
2008, where gathered many world
famous manufacturers of lamps and
lanterns. It provided me with a great
chance to learn the latest information in
this field and get to know more
suppliers.
It was by this exhibition that I came into
contact with two outstanding
companies: Philips and Simon, and then
established business relations with
them.
This photo shows
                       another memorable
                       moment of my career life.
I was with the designer of
                       this beautiful theme park.

It happened when I was a project manager and
responsible for the electronic segment of
Wuhan Haichang Polar and Ocean World’s
construction. I was so excited when the project
finally finished, because this task is challenging
and complicated for me. But eventually, I
managed to get everything done in time;
meanwhile, my team created a perfect light effect
at a low cost.
I enjoy learning new languages and then
understanding the corresponding cultures.
In 2011, I took French training classes of
“Alliance Francaise”. Picture was
photographed in one class when my
French teacher used drawing to teach us
new words about animals. I was impressed
by this new teaching method and then
made a decision studying abroad and
feeling differences between western and
Chinese education.
This training courses not only made me be
able to carry on basic conversation in
French, but triggered me go abroad and
learn in a creative environment.
I took this picture when the first time I came to Centennial College, it was also the first
day I spent in Toronto. Different country, language and culture are so attractive to me.
The brand new environment brings me tons of valuable ideas and knowledge.
I’m taking business operations program at centennial which is closely related to my
previous work experience.
Back to school in a foreign country is helpful for me to broaden my view and enrich my
life. In addition, I did learn a lot from my professors including time management, team
work spirits, critical thinking and building up personal band.
