EXPERIENCE STRINGZEN - FROM FINLAND
StringZen is a dynamic group of highly qualified string in-
strument players. They have been acting for years as indi-
vidual soloists and working with various world class artists
within different genres of music. Rooted in the academ-
ic music background, these artists are UNLIMITED WITH
TECHNIQUES.
The musician ladies are bound together with ties of friend-
ship and passion for fantasy, improvisation and experiments
with the novelties of classical and contemporary music. The
stringed instruments highlighted in the group are the core
of expression for them. Zen - translated from the Sanskrit
meaning “meditation”, stands for an open spirit enabling
the artists to improvise and create freely during the perfor-
mances and practise.

Merilyn and Elisa are the two bright stars in the sky of Finnish Violin playing. They offer a duet of uniquely bril-
liant playing with in a context of movement and music improvisation at the same time.

Merilyn Violinist - Embassador of Music
Among other remarkable credits in her field, Merilyn is known as a composer and
cover artist. A recent success was made by publishing her own version of the song
Ya El Medan by Cairokee and Aida ElAyoubi. The cover gained public and media
praise and brought a great interest towards the Nordic female artist among Arabic
speaking audience. She has also produced music for a Finnish world top Gymnas-
tic team, as well as acted as a musical agent in cooperation with Finnish export
industry brand Valtra Oy.
