It’s normal to look at designer collections and think, “These clothes are
beautiful, but I could never afford to look like that.” Or an even more typical
reaction, “Only a model could pull off that outfit.” We understand that yes, maybe
not everyone can pull off or afford a House of Holland’s bright pink fur coat,
layered over a purple sequin shift dress that just strutted down the runway (and
trust me, we aren’t asking you to try), but what we did discover at London Fashion
Week was how innovative fashionistas have been able to translate these runway
trends into chic, affordable, street style looks.
The trends that caught our eye are a must-have for the upcoming Autumn/
Winter ‘14 season, are the brights, bolds, and crazy patterns that most of us stray
away from.
